There is a Common Entrance Test(CET) mandatory for admission to DBTI affiliated with GGSIPU. Information about the Entrance test can be gathered easily from the official website of GGSIPU. There is no cutoff for this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum of this BCA course has changed from 2021. It has got more practical based subjects. Some of the faculty here are cooperative and knowledgeable. There is a mandated uniform for one day in a week.

The college faculty is very cooperative regarding the placement functionality. Every student gets enough guidance about job openings and opportunities available. Some of the passed-out students are doing great.

Fees and Financial Aid

Total fees for the first year are 86000 and for the rest of the two years, it is 71000. It has now increased to 5000 or something. In this course, there is a scholarship available for students provided by the university GGSIPU.

Campus Life

The day is quite strict here in college. The student cannot leave any lecture at all. The day-to-day life here is much similar to school. Since this college started in 2019, almost everything is in its development phase.

Placement Experience:

Placement was one of the strongest factor of Shikshapeeth College as more than 90% studnents got placement from my batch and lot of students got multiple placement offers, however, I got 5 placement offers from different IT companies and the best part was i earned my 5th & 6th Semester Fees during my study.

A disciplined college with average exposure and honest reality.

Placement Experience:

Placement at jims vk2 are average and not very strong, especially for BCA. Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the 5th or 6th semester. Compinies and offer Some small it companies , startup,and service based firms visit the campus. roles are Technical support, junior developer, and so on. Package details Highest package: Around average level, nothing exceptional. Average package: Entry level salary , suitable only for freshers. College does not officially publish detailed placement stats . placement percentage : only a small percentage of students get placed through campus. mostly students look for off campus placements. Employability and my plans after completing my bca i go gor off campus placements.

The admission process of the college was easy and very accessible for the students who were directly transferred or referred from the same Don Bosco schools or colleges or institutions. However, if you had average marks in any subjects there were no obstacles standing ahead of you. Before admission, you should obtain the admission form of the required college, and here you can get it in the fee counter section or through the reception and also through the official website of the institution. After you have filled the form submit it in the reception or the fee counter. After meeting the criteria of the minimum percentage of 55% in every subject you will be called for an observation test. After which the basic interview with the headmaster would take place. If you meet all the criteria above you may be called or you will receive a message regarding your selection in the institution and should be asked to submit your admission fees and join the classes as soon as it starts....Read More
