Remarks

I took admission in offline mode, but there is also an online mode to admission to our college. yes, I took the entrance exam and my rank was 5000, then after counseling, I got admission to this college. This college also has a reservation system.

Teachers are very helpful, and they are most qualified. They are pretty knowledgeable, their teaching quality is very good. College makes students ready for the industry. I admission this course because I have an interest in these subjects. our college has an internal exam per month and also a semester exam per year.

In our college, there are also internship opportunities. Many companies like Bassett, bavestech. Wipro company are coming to our college to give internship opportunity. Approx. 150000 packages I can get from this internship.

Placement Experience

Approximately 70% of students are placed in my college. The highest package in my course is 60000 and the lowest package is 250000. The average package is 300000. Many foreign companies recruit our college like Walmart, Wipro, TCS, etc. company recruiting our college.

Fees and Financial Aid

To complete my study total fees of this course is approximately 400000. I pay this amount separately per year. I also got Swami Vivekananda merit cum means scholarship per year 60000.

Campus Life

My college campus is very beautiful. There is a hostel, but besides the college, there are many rooms (mess) available to stay in. The college has a Wi-Fi system and many computers for teaching students, the classroom is pretty looking, and there is also a library. The college has two canteens. It has a medical facility. There are big playgrounds for college students.

The campus placement from recently past years is slightly good . Placement Experience:

7th semester is when the students get to sit for placements. I am not sure about the total no of companies visited but I am aware of the name of few companies like IBM Infosys Wipro Capsitech Tech Mahindra cognizant etc . Mostly the girls are 100 percent placed cause there is diversity hiring. Mass recruiters is what visit our campus mostly.. I personally would look for a job after graduation highest package offered displayed by college is 75 lpa but I don't think so it is real. Maybe someone had worked hard and got placed off campus. On campus highest isbi guess 12-14 lpa

- I choose Data Science as it is new to my college when comparing with the other branches. The curriculum is just okay it is not per industry standards but if students deep drives in each aspects then they are likely to crack GATE exams. - The whole curriculum needs and improvement from the very 1st Year and removal of irrelevant subjects like Discrete Mathematics, Electonics, Biology for IT branches are required. - Semester exams are conducted every 6 months and CTs are conducted every 2 months

NIT Durgapur:-A wholesome Insight in the college life and it's different aspects

Placement Experience:

For campus placements student become eligible from the 7th semester onwards and for internships student get eligible from 5th semester onwards. Wide no of companies visited our campus around 180+ and made around 580+ offers to the students. The highest salary was 58LPA which was offered by DE Shaw and the highest accepted salary was 51LPA in Microsoft.The average package rolls roughly around 10-12 LPA.The profile offered include SDE roles, management roles,finance in some cases.The overall placement percentage was around 80% with Branches like electrical and metallurgy moving above 90% followed by CSE and ECE in the mid 80s while for biotech and civil the placement percentage are generally below 70.My plans after getting the degree is to land a job offer from on campus placements.Therefafter maybe look out for and MBA from top B schools of india.

Our college campus is fully green campus. All teachers and faculty members are highly qualified and very helpful. All the classrooms are well groomed. Library is very good. All types of books are available in our library. Semester fees is comfortable for all types of students. Admission process is very easy. All types of scholarship are available for all students. Laboratories are decorated by updated instruments. Gym is available in our college. Playground is very clean.
