Remarks

I had written a Karnataka Common Entrance Test for the admission process. The cutoff was well enough for admission and KCET must be written for the admission process other exams were ComedK and also the management fees.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I had chosen Electronics and Communication because it helps me in getting into both software as well as hardware fields. And it has got more opportunities in terms of jobs compared to other branches. The faculty was well qualified and the ratio was 1:55, and the qualifications were fully completed like M.Tech, Ph.D.,. etc. The teaching methods were excellent and it was very interactive and friendly. Also then comes the examination part, it was like we were having a semester for 4 or 5 months. In that, we had 3 internals so It would start very fast and the portions were quite tough and we couldn't read so much in that less time so though it was hard to read, we managed to pass the exams with good grades.

Internships Opportunities

4

Some of the companies like SAP etc have offered an internship for many roles like HR role and executive and others. Some of the projects like building an app, website, coding, etc. Many projects were done and got some stipend which was very much helpful for the placements.

Placement Experience

4

As of now the campus placements starts in the 7th semester and students must score good grades to be eligible for the placements. Some of the companies are TCS, Infosys, Mindtree, Sonata, Adobe, etc. It has made so many offers to many students. The highest package was 24 lakh and the average package was 5.5 lakh and many of them got placed. The percentage of student placements was 96%. It was a good opportunity for all the students and placement is very much helpful for the students.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee were a bit costly but as compared to other colleges it was the most affordable one. It has also got the best education and also affordable fees. It wasn't too difficult of fees and costs to study. The SSP Scholarship was the one that helped in the financial crisis and the campus also offered some jobs on campus and earned some stipends from that too. Overall the fee was very much affordable.

Campus Life

4.5

Our campus had conducted a fest named INTERACT. It was amazing and awesome, everyone enjoyed it a lot. It also has a library which has N number of books and also many journals in it. I have also got a digital library too. All the classrooms are neat and clean. And the board, bench, and desk are all very much comfortable. It has got plenty of sports. Some of them are cricket, volleyball, basketball, handball, weightlifting, kabaddi, kho-kho, and indoor like carrom, chess, table tennis, etc. It has also got NCC, NSS and recently they a organized a club on Independence Day. It is also well maintained with its rules and regulations and all of them have to follow it

Course Curriculum Overview:

Our college (NHCE) is affiliated to VTU but it's autonomous college. I like mechanical engineering and my father is also a mechanical engineer which inspired me to mechanical engineering. It is a bit outdated, expect more applications of the concepts. As I said we have exams every month, the frequency is good and the difficulty of exams I mid to easy range.

Placement Experience:

Many top MNC's come to the college. Recently the placement opportunities has increased when compared to our batchs.Companies like TCS, Wipro, IBM, Infosys, SLK, Mphasis etc had given us the opportunity. The average package offer was 3.5lpa or 4lpa. The highest package known to me was 10lpa for a CS student not for us. The placements begins either at the end of 6th sem or in the beginning of 7th sem. Almost 60-70% of us were placed by the end of graduation but due to recession the onboarding was very late. Waited for more than a year to get onboarded.
