Well, to apply for admission to my college one have to give jee mains exam and then apply in the mpdte counseling. Now on the basis of rank in jee mains, one can get admission into any branch according to its cutoff. Also, my college gives reservation benefits so the cut-off is most likely this

I choose my course ( BTech in artificial intelligence and data science ) because the future depends on the ai, ml. Also ai can reduce the load and the manpower in the industries. With the introduction of ai our life is becoming easier day by day. Also, ai is one of the most promising jobs in the world nowadays. The faculty: students ratio is quite good in my college. We get 2-3 teachers teaching different modules of a single subject for the class of 66 students. Most of the faculty members are Ph.D. and Mtech postgraduates. But, one has to study himself in order to score well on the exam, he/she can't rely on faculty members for study, he/she has to study himself/herself.

In the 4th year, a student is eligible for campus placement. Many companies visit here like Wipro, TCS, etc. The on-campus average package is 6-7 LPA but off off-campus placement average package sets the bars higher. Last year the highest on-campus placement package was around 12 lakh LPA while the off-campus highest package was 1.25 cr per annum (overseas). Almost 90% of the students in the cs-it are placed and placement for other branches is not quite good. Most of the students in cs-it look for placements with a good package, while most of the students in other branches look for gate, cat, civil services, and other competitive exams.

My college provides many scholarships like mmvy for general category students and mptaas for obc and sc/st category students. These scholarships have their own eligibility criteria and with the help of these one has not had to pay the fees of any course in my college. Also, the college provides hostel facilities for students coming from outside Jabalpur. The hostel rental fee are very very nominal and one can pay them at once.

The college has many cubs like Raag for singing, dance on for dancing camera eye for photography, karwaan in which students go to govt. schools to teach the students studying there, aesthetic for sketching and painting, lit-c for story and poetry writing, jlug club, gdsc club, jsim club, etc. These clubs allow the students to grow their skills in their respective interests. Also, various tech and cultural events are conducted in the college. Also, a sports event called avahan is conducted every year in which students of different branches compete with each other in different sports. The classrooms are well equipped are smart classrooms. Although one would not like the infrastructure and maintenance of the classrooms all the classrooms are well equipped.
