Remarks

The admission process is very easy. The candidate must pass his 12th with above 70%. The application is available in the college. I did not avail any reservation benefits. The application dates for the college are available on the college website.

Course Curriculum Overview

I have chosen the computer science and engineering course. As tech is booming me days the is a lot of demand for software engineers. All the faculty of our college are done with their PhDs. The exams are not that different to pass.

The companies like Microsoft, Zoho, and other companies will provide the internship opportunity. Requirements: To demonstrate an understanding of computer science fundamentals, including data structures and algorithms.

The companies like hcl,Amazon, shell, Cisco, grow, red bus, kpit and many other companies will come to our college. The highest package of this year is 30lpa and the average package is around 10 lpa. Approx 90% of the students will get placed on the campus.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college fee is around 87000 per year. The college will provide an internship opportunity for all. The college fee is constant and the fee will be decided upon admission. I didn't apply for any scholarships.

Campus Life

The annual fest is conducted in our college and it will be for a few days and is conducted once a year. The tech fests like IEEE and Browse and many others will be conducted. All the latest books are available in the library. There are various kinds of clubs.

Hostel Facilities

In the college hostel, they just provide the room, both veg, and nonveg food, and the cot along with Wi-Fi and hot water facilities. The quality of the food is quite decent. Registration for a hostel is as simple as filling out a hostel form.

Is VIT worth it

Placement Experience:

Placements in VIT UNIVERSITY is very good the average package is 8 lakhs and the Highest may go upto 1 crore every year.There is a separate placement cell in VIT chennai and they give you placement training from start of the third year. Many multinational companies like google, microsoft etc comes to VIT to pick students for their company. Almost 98 percent of the students gets places in VIT. After my degree I choose to sit for placements.

Firstly I haven't got good marks in my APEAMCET exam and next thing is I came to know that my relatives sons have also graduated from the Vel tech University.
