Remarks

You can get into IET DAVV only based on a joint entrance examination (mains). You've to take part in Mp-DTE counseling to get admission. The form of the same is available on the site. The admission process is smooth. There are 2 rounds excluding the CLC one. You must score decent in jee mains to get admission here as it's a reputed college in Indore currently providing more placement opportunities than S.G.S.I.T.S.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose computer science because of the opportunities it provides. As the IT sector is the fastest growing sector and its demand is going to increase and increase only so I chose this stream. The faculties here are knowledgeable but to be very honest, in the end, it's just you've to study. You can't rely upon them especially when you've to learn programming and stuff. Exams here are regular. The curriculum is updated and you can pass exams even if you study the night before.

Internships Opportunities

Our college provides ample internship opportunities as well. Two students got an internship from Microsoft of 20lpa. The internship is mandatory in the 3rd and 4th year which is added to your GPA. But if you wanna get a good internship then for that you've to search by yourself only

Placement Experience

The best part about our college is the placements. Students became eligible for placements in the 7th sem. More than 35 companies visited our college for the session 2022 placement drive and more than 500 students were placed with 350 plus students having more than one job offer in hand. The average package was 6lpa which is pretty decent while the highest one was 56 LPA.

Fees and Financial Aid

As it's a government-funded organization, the fees here are much lower in comparison with the private ones. If you are from M.P. only then you can get benefits of M.M.V.Y. if your JEE rank is lower than 1,50,000 and your parent's annual income is less than 6 LPA. Placements here are soo good that it only comes next to IIT Indore and NIT Bhopal in the state. This year only the highest package offered was 56lpa which is pretty good. Our placement coordinator is the best among all colleges in Indore which makes it much easier for worthy students to gather opportunities.

Campus Life

The campus life here at IET is probably the best one in Indore. The campus is huge and beautiful. Although the infrastructure isn't that modern it's pretty decent. Hostels aren't that good to be very honest. Clubs here are pretty much active and fun too. Here at IET, we have central India's biggest cultural fest AAKSHANK. Celebrities like KK, Zakir Hussain, and Jubin Nautiyal had earlier performed here. You'll get mostly academic books in the library and you don't need to buy them yourself which is a plus point. For sports facilities, you've to go to the university campus which is nearby only.

SGSITS: JUST A BIG BRAND

Placement Experience:

At the end of 2nd year, companies like goldman sachs comes to take interns. For placements students become eligible from 6th or 7th semester. In recent years goldman sachs is the biggest recruiter, oracle and Deloitte have also recruited, other firms like tcs and infosys also come. Giants like Amazon and google have stopped visiting since few years. Last year highest package was 72 lpa to an ece student. Average lies around 8 lpa. In tech branch 70-80% students are placed. In lower branches 50-60% students are placed. My plan is also to get placed at a decent package after completion of course.

The college have good placements as far as I got to know. The highest package was 8500000 lpa last year and average package was 1900000 lpa. My plan after the degree is to get god job in ECE cire company.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to get placed and many companies visits every year for placement and approx 60-70% students gets placement every year.As per my knowledge there is no company which has made no offer.Average package is about 6-7 lakhs per annum.My plan is to take good package from on campus placement drive.If I am unable to get this then I will try for off campus placement and I also want to do MTECH after graduating.

A campus of learning, friendship and future prospects

Placement Experience:

Campus Pl start from the 7th semester with good companies visiting for core branches popular recruiters are tafe eichers, CG power, Disa. Cognizant and Infosys for the IT roles also. The average package is up to the 6 LPA. After completing my degree I am planning To join a good company of the mechanical branch which helps me in building my career in the core engineering field.

I had Applied in various colleges. I was getting jc Jabalpur Engineering College, but the condition of Jaunpur miram college is really bad, and I didn't feel the areas safe, and also it is in the place which is much farther than my own house, so it's somewhere. Create a sense of insecurity inside me , whereas indore Is the business capital of MP Madhya Pradesh and DPV is the second best college in Madhya Pradesh? I was getting RGI PT too, but again the distance problem, and it was not into my interest. One of the things of taking this college was the branch that I was getting, that is CS BS that really facilitates her. College provides good placement opportunities and great crowd to interact with

Besides the IITs and NITs in Madhya Pradesh, IET DAVV and SGSITS are the two most renowned government aided institutes.
