Life at IITRAM Pros and Cons

The admission process was on the basis of my JEE Mains score. Since it was a Gujarat-based university, for Gujarati applicants, the selection was on the basis of their ACPC test scores. Students with Gujarat domicile received 50% off tuition fees

I chose the course because of the course curriculum and research assistance/setup. There were approximately 12 faculty members for every 240 students in each course. The minimum qualification for the faculty was a PhD in their respective areas from a renowned university and a credible fellowship The exams were timely (twice a semester) and I would rate the difficulty as 5 on 10

The college assists students with internships after their first year of the course. There are several Tech and Non-Tech roles offered in the internships. Moving ahead there is no assistance as such after the first year

The students become eligible for placements in the final year of their degree. Role was offered by industries in IT, Hard Tech, Ed Tech The highest package was 4 lac/yr and the average was 3lac/yr About 25% of students got placed

The current fees structure is as follows course fees - 125000/yr The college does assist in placements and internships. I got placed in torrent power as a graduate engineering trainee soon after college.

The library and classroom infrastructure are decent. Other than everything else, college life is pretty dormant. Their arent as many clubs, fests, activities and sports to participate in. The social life is pretty dull

The university doesn't have a dedicated on-campus hostel. It has rented duplex hoses and rooms at a separate location to accommodate students. Transport facilities are provided to and from the college. The meal quality at the campus and the hostel are manageable. Facilities in the hostel include a bed, table, chair, cupboard, cleaning etc
