Remarks

Centralized Admissions were done online for almost all the college in Chandigarh on site dhe.chd.gov.in . Application form is availed on the site only. Students who studied 11th and 12th from Chandigarh, were in ut pool and gets preference over non ut pool. Reservations are also provided for sc, bc, obc nd other classes too.

Course Curriculum Overview

I wanted to go into the research field and biotechnology had my interest. The faculty in the college is quite knowledgeable. All of the professors are well qualified most of them have done their Ph.D. They teach very well. Exams are taken mid sem and then after each semester. A student can pass exams easily by studying regularly. The exams aren't very tough to crack.

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 16000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Government colleges have fewer fees than private ones. For a bachelor's in science, the fees for 1 year are somewhere between 15-20 k. Students can avail scholarships on basis of their marks in the 12th class. The college doesn't provide on-campus jobs or internships.

Campus Life

Each department in college organizes fests and events. And then there's the yearly Punjab University fest. The library in my college is the best known. Classrooms are well furnished, labs are well equipped. Sports and extracurricular activities are also held by the college.

College Life : An interesting part of life

Course Curriculum Overview:

Being a Science student , I loved my curriculum as it provides application parts with laboratories . I choose this course as I always wanted to learn more about science and its various fields. For me overall curriculum is good and have moderate level but I would suggest to reduce the syllabus little bit so that most of the students can learn whole syllabus Exams are being conducted regularly as per the University guidelines.

Curriculum is prepared well. I chose medical as i was a medical student. Curriculum is prepared in such a wau that it will help you out in the real world too. Improvement is required in the books as some of the books are out dated. Timing of exams are accurate we get enough time to prepare for the exam and difficulty level is moderate.

First of all this college is most renowned college of the Tricity and Being Government aided College it has it own importance . And if anyone of students is getting admission in this college , no one would have deny the opportunity. I have got admission in other colleges too but I preferred this college for its various facilities provided. For admission process you have to apply via centralised admission portal where you get the admission on the basis of your merit which is a sound method according to me.
