Life in college

Admission is through counselling sessions which are totally based upon the rank obtained by you in your common entrance test organised by Indraprastha university. The name of the test is GGSIPU. you can find the application form along with the fees details and last dates on the college portal. further seats are also filled based on the marks obtained in JEE. there are a few percentages of seats in every stream reserved for the management known as management seats wherein the management person/relatives can get the opportunity to join the course without going through that vast process of going through counselling and that eligibility test. further what I feel like the improvement that is to be needed in the test. they should increase the passing percentage of the test.

I chose this course because I have always wanted to be an engineer as my brother is also an engineer and currently working for Google cloud. the faculty is quite experienced and few teachers are from even IITs and NITs and they actually know how students can get the knowledge about the subject they actually use practically life examples and try to prove their sayings. in total, we are 55 students in the class. there are in total 8 semesters comprising of 5-6 subjects in each semester. further, there are sessionals organised on regular basis after every 3 months so that students can evaluate themselves.

As we engineering students have to undergone through the summer internships, companies like wipro, dell and various other kpos and BPos offered internships programs where they offer you a stipend of 10k -20k and which is not less in numbers as we are in the learning stage

the fees hike policy is not so good as they increase fees on any ground which is actually not good for a student who is from the middle class and lower middle class. thus I want this thing to be improved and further, the job assistance is quite impressive. in the 7th semester, there will be a placement drive where you can get hired if you suit the job requirements and your capabilities. there are various companies that join in campus placement drives including Wipro, Accenture, HCL, Genpact and various other kpos and Bpos.

there is a very popular cultural event organised by the college named conoscenza, where students from different years and from different streams show their talent, which comprises music, dance, comedy, mimicry etc. further there is an amazing library which is the best place for every student to get knowledge apart from studies. Also, various sporting events are also organised by the college from time to time which includes inter-college cricket, football and volleyball.
