Remarks

For taking admission you should pass class 12th. First, you need to apply through DTE Haryana counselling its application fee is approx 100 and the admission process almost takes 1 month to complete. For my college, you need about 75 per cent in 12th.

Course Curriculum Overview

I am preparing for UPSC and its course curriculum is very relevant to my preparation. The student-faculty ratio is 1:8. All the faculties are PhD holders and are very experienced in their field, they are cooperative too if you give your best to them.

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 60000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee hike policy is negligible as compared to other colleges as it is like a government college its fees are just 6k per year Scholarship offered to bc and sc students also fees is very low almost negligible

Campus Life

There are fests held regularly in every season on a special occasion Almost every book related to the course available in the library There is no ac in the classroom and also in the library. Sports facilities are also available for sports like volleyball and cricket, students play these in between classes

JGU is delightful place!!

Placement Experience:

EY, JP Morgan, Morgan Stanley and all other companies which defies international economics are the ones which recruits students of JGU. Theh even conduct seminars and workshops and tells us the things which we need to add in our arsenal to be fit and ready for placements. Jindal Students of Economics easily score placements worth 5-7 lakhs and nearly all the students who wish for placements gets it too.

OPJGU: Not my first choice, but definitely the right one

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is highly relevant and comprehensive, according to me. The core courses that are mandatory for a student to take are highly relevant and necessary in order to develop the relevant skills and knowledge in that specific domain of the field. Electives on the other hand, are a student's choices and may or may not be relevant directly to the course one is studying. The university offers a wide range of electives and the electives are also taught by highly qualified professors across the 12 different schools of JGU. The end semester exams are either of 30 marks or 50 marks, depending on the course. Electives usually have a 30-mark end-of-semester exam for 1.5 hours. The exams are pretty easy and theoretical and contextual, unless the course one has chosen is strictly application-based and demands applications of theoretical frameworks. The core exams in the first and second year are divided across 50 and 30 mark exams and are often for 3 hours. The exams are pretty easy and theoretical except for the practicum courses, which are deeply application-based. The final year has very few core courses which are for 30 marks.

Placement Experience:

Placement are decent average package is in the range of 3-5 LPA . Several companies come in campus for placement opportunities including big names like CVENT, TCS , Wipro etc . The placement are not so great but they provide a decent starting packages to fresher.

A well developed basketball court is being provided by the college so that boys and girls can freely and actively play and refresh their minds.It is a huge court .Students love to play here as it is the most fascinating sport.Boys and girls are given equal privileges in respect to the court.

Eligibility of this course is 12th with science stream from any recognized board of education. 12th standard pass in any other stream like art and commerce may also switch. Best college in Charlhi Dadri District.

There is no entrance exam for taking admission to this college. We have to fill out Haryana college admission portal forms. The application fee to fill out the admission is zero. But the fee to take admission has to pay. The fees of the college of B.sc. the course is about 8000 per year. Yes, there is a reservation available for SC/ST Students. The scholarship is also available for students. But the attendance in all classes should be greater than or equal to 67%. Reservations are only possible if you belong to a scheduled caste or scheduled tribe in our country. Application dates for colleges are around June and July.
