College review

In my time, the Uptu exam was held for the admission process to select the college. Now, I think the situation has changed as now jee main paper is used for admission process in the college. And now the competition has been tough as it was before for selecting a college in aktu.

I loved AI and found it an interesting course to pursue. The faculty is good in my course and they are always ready to help us in a needful way. I can say that ratio of boys to girls is quite the same as in my course. Faculty members graduated from prestigious universities expect a few of them. For every sem, aktu external exam was conducted from time to time of 100 marks. If you attend the lecture in class, then you can score good marks in your external exam.

At present time, most companies are coming in our college for training is on software updation just few months back ola had come to our college. They were providing 15000 stipends and also travel expenses included in it.

From the 7th semester starting, the company come to college for placement. The most important companies which come are TCS, Wipro and cognizant which offered packages of 4 to 5 lakhs and can be more depending upon your skills. The highest on campus is around 10 to 12 lakhs as I know. In computer science stream mostly 100 per cent student placed than the other branch.

As I think college fees are not much so high. But there is a scholarship provided by the up government every year which is around 50000 depending upon your annual income of your family. As the college provides a discount for academic fees if you paid your fees timely. There are few seats for fees waiver where students don't want to pay tution fees.

I can say that campus is full of greenery and I find it comfortable to stay in the college hostel. Few months before a unifest was held in our college where the guest was Hardy Sandhu and it was the month of April when the unifest was held. I can say that the library is equipped with all books that you need to clear your sem exams and even go for a future course. The classrooms are good and quite ok. There is every opportunity for students to participate in any sports like cricket, badminton, basketball etc.

The hostel room is good and a bed, chair and table with almirah everything is provided. On every floor, there is a water cooler is there to drink water. Everyone has to share the bathroom as there is no separate bathroom in it. Mess food is not so good, someday it is good and someday is awful to have food. The registration process is simple as you have to pay the fees of the hostel and come as soon as possible for allotment of your seat in the hostel.
