Eligibility was a bachelor's in economics or a related field. Application form, application fees. application dates and other details are present on the Amity University website. The admission process was very easy.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course out of my interest in the economic and business fields. Student to faculty ratio was 40:1 Teachers are highly qualified in their respective fields. Teachers are very helpful and clear all the doubts of the students. Term exams were in every six months are were of the difficulty level: of moderate to high
Internships Opportunities
Companies like Cognizant, and Accenture KPMG came for internship as well... Different roles like business analyst, marketing associate, market analysis, financial associate, sales consultant. Stipends varied greatly on the companies and the roles offered.
Placement Experience
Students become eligible for campus placements in the 4th semester during the second year. Companies like Cognizant, Accenture, and KPMG visited and a lot of offers were made. The average package was about 6 lakhs per year but it depends on the company at the profiles offered. 100% of students got placed I'm working as a business analyst.
Fees and Financial Aid
There is no such fee hike policy that I'm aware of. The cost of study for my course was around 70000/ year. I got no scholarships, financial assistance or jobs on campus with or without a stipend. Did a lot of paid/unpaid internships though.
Campus Life
The annual fest happens in April/May. The library is big spacious and equiped with a lot of books and journals from various different subjects and genres. Classrooms are spacious and with projectors and screens. Air conditioners are also present in classrooms. There are a lot of sports facilities and extracurricular activities present on campus.
