Remarks

There is no such eligibility in choosing any course. You can choose any course you want but there should be more seats available for the computer science branch. I took admission through the JCECE entrance exam the JCECE form was available on the online site of JCECE to which the forms mainly come on-site in the months of June July or august. Yes, there is a few benefits of reservation if you are SC or ST other than no benefits on reservations. Yes, there should be an improvement on the admission process that the college provides a scholarship or fees structure which should be handled properly and students should get benefits from the scholarship of college.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

I choose this course because it was suitable for me and the faculty-guided to take it. But my opinion was to take another branch on this course. The ratio between faculty and student is 1:4. Many of the teachers are professors done PhD and many of them have great teaching skills. Term exam time is not so good because it always delays as other state college students of our year batch are always ahead of us and their semester exams are conducted before 2,3 months as compared to ours. Exams are a little tough it should little easy so that we all could be pass easily as our concentration level of study gas been decreased after Covid-19.

Internships Opportunities

2

The companies and roles offered under internships with stipends are as many small private industries or govt industries such as Tata, Sail, Wipro, Hcl, and TCS. The college demands a project or mini project for students every year. And the college gives tasks according to or regarding to the internship we have done.

Placement Experience

1

From 6th sem students are eligible for campus placement. Many companies visited such as many private companies such as Tata, TCS, WIPRO, BUYJUS, and many IT companies. Many offers are made such as packages of 3 lakhs or more. The highest package offered is 10 lakhs and the average is 3 lakhs. The percentage of students getting placement is 10 to 20 percent as the college claims 100 percent but it's not true. My plan after getting a degree is to apply for some great out campus because our college is not so good for placement in the mechanical branch.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is very costly as compared to other colleges it should be a little less and affordable for some poor or middle-class families. It takes almost 90000 rupees per year which is not affordable for everyone. There are scholarships provided by the college known as RVs Medha which is for students' fee structure. And there is another scholarship linked up known as E Kalyan through which students get 35000 rupees per year. Currently, I am on 2nd yr so I didn't get any job.

Campus Life

2.5

The annual fest held known as the fresher's party and RVS fest which is conducted in January February or March. All types of books are available, especially there is a large number of books available for the engineering field. Sports day is conducted every year on campus which varies with many sports such as Football, Badminton, Tug of War, Basketball, Volleyball and many indoor and outdoor games. There are no such social group clubs or websites for students run by students.

Other Applied Colleges

Techno Main Salt Lake | Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Mechanical Engineering)

Because it does take direct admission without JELET exam and i need to join btech in lateral entry on 2021 only i cant wait for one more year as all my batchmates had done admission already somewhere in private college

Course Curriculum Overview:

I feel the course curriculum is okay and the basics are covered well, which is one reason I choose this branch, but some subjects feel outdated and not fully connected to real industry work. It prepare us for further studies more than practical jobs. Exams come every semester with internals in between, difficulty is moderate but few papers become tricky. I think more practical topics, updated labs and better teaching methods will make the curriculum more useful...

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum exam ready for students of mechanical engineering it focuses on industrial level exposure and for other competitive exams like gate and IES with good faculty who teaches almost all concepts. There are labs for each subject in which we get real world application knowledge. Also course is updated regularly as per the requirement of industry . The course can we improved by making course more practical rather than a writing all things on practical it should include project for students. Frequency of exam is that in every 15 days there is a exam with moderate to difficult level.

At BIT Mesra third is like full of practice for placements and final year more of placements activities than studies. So, when all these things are in order placements obviously will be more or less certain and here they are certain only with almost 90% students are places through campus with annual placements of 8-10 lakhs per annum.

At BIT Mesra for our departments many cpre companies like Tatva Chintan, Laxmi Organics and Kanoria Chemicals were among some listed companies that came for placements. Luckily we are less in numbers and therefore 90% students from our batch were placed from here. My plans after getting the degree is to pursue masters from US.

One of my colleges best features is its placements program, which offers fantastic chances for students to launch their carrers. In the fifth and sixth semesters, students are prepared with aptitude training sessions, group discussions, and resume construction. About 85% of qualified pupils were placed during the previoes school year. Compared to core engieering fields, placements rates were marginally higher in IT branches.
