Course Curriculum Overview

I wanted to complete my graduation for the MSc course and this college provides BSc so firstly I joined to complete my BSc. Faculties are also good but not the best. Faculties are very highly educated and qualified. Exams are semester wished first is internal and second is external means final.

Class Size: 45Course Fees: INR 1100 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are really low because it is a government college i.e only 1100 per semester means 2200 per year and the scholarship is about 4000 which is higher than your total fees. So you don't have to worry about your fees.

Campus Life

Infrastructure is really good and means the building is enough for teaching but yet a new building is ready for the class. Some books are not available in the library but are still a good library to read in peace.

A Transformative Journey : My College Experience

Placement Experience:

The campus placement in our college is held after the completion of all 6 semesters and there is very limited number of companies that come over to offer placement but off campus placements starts from 6 semester onwards. The companies visited were Vedanta for graduate trainee offering 1.40 - 4.65 LPA Tata Power for graduate trainee offering 1.90 - 3.69 LPA Only 40% students got placements. Many students didn't take part as the packages very low & even the perks were not so good. I planned to do higher studies in M.Sc. As the subject was very intriguing I preferred pursuing more knowledge.

St. Columbas college Is the best in my city

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am chosen this course because mathematics is my strongest subject from all of the others that's why I can choose mathematics. Faculty member of our college is very supportive but some of the teachers are very rude behaviour. Our college teachers are very disciplined about teaching and any project work. My class have 250 students. Every semester our college takes mid sem exam then a viva exam, assignment on every paper, group discussion, surprise test. The exam pattern was based on their classes. The exam pattern is moderate most times.

• I didn't apply for other colleges and I choose because of the low fees and also because it accept lower attendance and I am doing CA alongwith so I provided me more time to prepare. • Admission process of our college: (i) After 12th we have to register in chancellor portal by filling all the required documents and details. (ii) After that a merit list released by the vbu university for every particular colleges.
