Remarks

Must score in 12th greater than 60% and score good marks in GUJCET for good ranking. And also get a score in JEE. If your score is good in 12th in the major subject and GUJCET and gets your rank high in the ACPC admission process.

Course Curriculum Overview

Biomedical Feild is lots of scope in the future as a global platform. there is a ph.d completed faculty and facilities are students friendly they help students to grow. there is an internal exam in mind for your semester and at the end of the semester there is an external exam conducted by GTU

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 2370 per year

Placement Experience

Final year students are allowed in placement. if you are having zero backlogs in your academic performance you have a good chance in a placement to grab the placement. In biomedical engineering students, 10% of students get placement every year.

Fees and Financial Aid

L.D College Of Engineering is run by the government of Gujarat there is no hike in fees every year and you don't need to pay tuition fees as well. you get a digital Gujarat scholarship from government of Gujarat if you are in ST/SC OR OBC category

Campus Life

There is lots of national-level tech and non-technical event organized by different club-driven students of the institute. A few names of the club are retracted club, robocop club, NSS, NCC, alumni club, etc. there is also an inter-college level competition organized.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel rooms are very good. And for food, you need to go in a mess. there is 3 different mess which provides average food. if you want admission to a hostel first register yourself for hostel admission and after based on your merit list you got your admission. in the college area there so many paying guests (PG) is available.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements from the 7th Semester and companies start visiting at that time. The no. of companies that visit are around 30+ and the highest package offered last time was around 25+ LPA. The average package is 7-8LPA. Some of the companies that visit are Accenture,TCS, Infosys, JP Morgan(students got placed from a Hackathon)

The Average collage life

Placement Experience:

this is tier 3 collage of surat so don't expect higer placements and big mnc come for the placements, in my placements they commited over 25+ local companies come from surat but actually only 15 has come and only 20 students got placement accross over 200 students(computer + IT). and the average placement is 2.5 lakh oper year. and most of the companies are red flag because they want students to sign 1-2 year bond with very low salary. then lets about training for placement, its ZERO big ZERO they dont provided the placement training, i have seen 90 students from 120 gets failed in apptitude round. they have not provided training for cracking the coding interview only those students are placed who have done preparation by it self even 9+ CGPA students didn't get placement.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course is actually pretty nice . Subjects are tought according to the needs but the problem is about they do not update course according to the needs like `right now everyone should know how to use AI tools well , these small thing should also include in it. Apart from technical subjects they also have communication , ethics , personality developemt as a subject too but with less credits.

Placement Experience:

It has average placement with top companies recruitment such as reliance , jpmorgan etc, the highest is 60 lpa and average of 3.5lpa which makes good enviroment for placement. also it offers startup enviroment .

9sem are eligible for campus placement Not any great placements are their in college Highest placement was 64lpa and average is 5 lpa 80 %student are placed. Currently I don't have any plans but I will think off it soon

Good brand name for internship but needs more self-effort.

I applied to colleges like LDCE ,GEC Sector 28, PDPU etc.My first Choice was LDCE because it has good reputation, experienced faculty and affordable fees compared to other colleges.LDCE also has better placement support and a strong alumni network. I got admission in LDCE easily because my rank was good ,so I did not go for gec sector 28.PDPU has very high fees so I did not prefer it even though it is good college. The admission process of LDCE is simple and transparent.Admission is done through ACPC counselling based on GUJCET/JEE Main rank.
