Remarks

In order to get admission to narsinhbhai Patel dental college Visnagar, you have to opt for PCB in 12th standard & give neet UG exam & qualify & after that u have to apply through the Gujarat admission committee for admission.

Course Curriculum Overview

3 exams per year one are 1st internal in January then prelims in May- June & University exams in July and August each exam is theory-based. Internal is of 50 marks & prelims & University exams are of 70 marks. The teachers are very well qualified and also good at teaching.

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 143000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Our college runs many projects seminars for dental students in which we get additional information & knowledge about latest dental surgery & latest information & sometimes we get certificate also.

Fees and Financial Aid

I got mysy scholarship through the Gujarat government. In which I get back my 50% of fees ( Rs 1,43,000) on submission on my previous year passing mark sheet & other documents on nearest help center.

Campus Life

No there is no such social group clubs or website for students run by students in college I have no information about this type of website or club run in college if I have I will share it here in the future surely. Though the college organizes fest for the students and also extracurricular activities for the students.

A dream of a local girl.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My college is giving 2 hours per day in posting for 3rd year students which is the best for us to learn this early how to do pateint. They held free check up sessions for poor people who are able to afford fees of treatment nd for school students also. Exams timings is of 3 hours and we have long ans.questions which is very difficult to finish them up.

Course Curriculum Overview:

So curriculum I think is okay actually. Subjects that are actually related to dentistry have been focused more. Exam frequency is perfect according to my college we have enough break time and study time both. Teaching method should slightly changed as in more advancements are definately needed. For example nowadays for normal restoration people use composite in private clinics but composites practically are taught in internship in colleges. Actually it should be taught in final year itself. However in exams we have amalgam only so it's not college's fault

The faculty over here is at par excellence though bds is the toughest course out faculty makes it easy for us here 3:1 girls boys ratio is seen usually in the dental colleges all the faculty members are doctors either MBBS or bds/MDS. Every 2 months there are internal exams and before the university exams, there are prelims taken for us.

Placement Experience:

Final year student after completing the internship you are eligible. You clear the GPSC exam and are admitted for any post. It's a minimum of 35000 per month. My plan is to complete the degree to open the clinic. It 50% to up to are necessary to eligible.

Life of a MBBS student ft. Hostels

Well there are a lot of reasons for me applying to this college. This college is close to my home town which is around 80km. The fees here is less compared to other private colleges. My uncle lives in the town my college is and thus I can seek help when needed. I was getting another college which I didn't apply for because it was way too far from my hometown. It's true I didn't get the desired college. The whole story is that I was getting that college in the first round of admissions. But the round was cancelled due to some government shenanigans and thus and I couldn't clench that college in the revised round. The merit also rised in further round and thus I missed it.
