Remarks

There is no proper information centre and no response to our complaints. Let were hoping for something good. The college should improve in future. The college is a satisfactorily good one for engineering. I suggest you do not consider this place for management. College infrastructure is ok.

Entrance Preview

I was ranked 25000 in KCET. For this rank, one can get into this college. Here students who take admission mainly through management quota are the ones who spoil others.

Course Curriculum Overview

2

They are completing the syllabus on time, and they are doing the revision. Apart from this, they are conducting personality development programmes to help us to improve our knowledge although they aren't very effective. The computer science department is better than others.

Placement Experience

2.5

No placements as promised. Easy for students to get a year back. No seriousness is seen in anyone.

Campus Life

3

College is good in all ways but the place is not good and roads towards the college are the worst!!! The only thing that got me through this place was my friends, the food at Mubarak and Manju bar. It is an average college for an education in engineering. Since its location is in a Muslim dominated area, most of the students & faculties are Muslims

Hostel Facilities

2.5

Upside: HKBK boy's hostels one of the coolest place to hang out with friends. Downside: There is no medical treatment, not even a single doctor is available either in the college or in the hostels. If u r from outside Bangalore and are going to join this college, then my advice is that you don't come here. You will be at your own risk here.

Exam Structure

Semester pattern of exams is followed for engineering and management degrees. I have taken my CISCO exam here. no online registration here. You need to book your exam here via CISCO website before a day and you can take your exam. Only limited number of systems available.

Faculty

2

The college is good but the faculty is not much better and the management is so rubbish no one can solve your problem after your admission is completed. If you have the ability to study by yourself, then only you can take this college. Teachers are friendly but just about OK for teaching, however the opposite is true for the administration , greedy and selfish who show no responsibility at all. Unprofessional.

Placement Experience:

From your 7th semester you become eligible to get placed and it is mandatory to get internship before you get placed which the college helps you to get and around 400-500 companies visit, and a good amount of offers are made by them. The average package stands somewhere around 11LPA -12LPA and the highest goes to 50LPA-60LPA and the median stands around 9-10LPA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I'm in 1st semester. I will update you after my exams. But one good thing is that from this year, internals and externals will hold same weightage i.e., 50/50 If you can score more than 45% in internals which wouldn't be that big of a deal because they'll ask most the questions from class notes. Most of the faculties are average I would say. But some are good professors too. I chose CSE because I find these topics interesting since junior school. And everyone is just jumping into cse is a reason too lol.
