Remarks

I gave my CET exam which I got 79.50 percentile further through the official CET website I applied for the seat I got a seat in FCRIT Vashi in the IT field Everything went in a smooth way through the CET cell

Course Curriculum Overview

The staff is very understanding and the faculty members are very diligent toward the students in making them understand things well Exams were timely and as the teachers used to teach well there wasn't any difficulty in passing the examination

Class Size: 63Course Fees: INR 142892 per year

Placement Experience

There are many placement opportunities for the students of the college. Students go for higher studies too The highest packages are of 2100000 to date 90% of the students are offered proper placement My plan is for going for higher studies

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees for the academic year for the open category are 142892/- in total including development fees and tuition fees I come from a minority community so I received a scholarship through the government too

Campus Life

Everything is much more than perfect here the infrastructure, clubs and more are arranged so perfectly and we'll without any defects. The Manthan Magazine team, the eco club team, etc are some of the ckubs that exist

Hostel Facilities

The hostel is on the college premise itself The hostel is for both girls and boys The food quality is good and the menu to is decided The fees for a hostel are 8500/- per month inclusive of all The warden to is understanding and friendly

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. Bookworms are welcome, engineers are not

The eligibility was cet and jee marks based only. The last round cutoff for this college in mechanical was around 80%ile in mhtcet. But it was higher than 95%ile in comps for general. The admission process was easy just bring a cheque and fill up few forms and give documents and done. I had choosen many other colleges over this i even got accepted in mit wpu and talen admission but i am a local mumbai person and i woshed to stay here so i gave up that admission. I also didnt get admission in the crce bandra due to only a small difference in the cutoff. And i had no idea about the ACAP rounds. I understood about acap and tried taking admission in vesit chembur in robotics but idk i changed my mind and stayed in fcrit because i thought i dont like coding at all and thus staying in core mechanical would help me sustain my engineering life....Read More
