Course Curriculum Overview

Computer science is an evergreen subject and it has a great future so I chose this course. The faculties are well qualified and experienced. There are internal examinations in each semester, as this is an autonomous college question paper set by the college.

Internships Opportunities

Companies like Cognizant, Wipro, and TCS offer internships with a stipend of 10k per month. They were hired as trainees during the internship period. Tasks will be assigned for interns as per their domain like UI/UX, react, etc

Placement Experience

From the 7th semester onwards we can attend placements. Companies like Cognizant, TCS, Accenture, etc are major recruiters. The placement percentage is above 80%. I'm willing to create a startup for game development.

The annual day will be conducted every year, Allora is a cultural event conducted in college. Texperia is a tech event to showcase our projects and ideas. The library has ample books students can access at any time. 40+ clubs are available for students eg motorcycle club, dance club, etc.

Is VIT worth it

Placement Experience:

Placements in VIT UNIVERSITY is very good the average package is 8 lakhs and the Highest may go upto 1 crore every year.There is a separate placement cell in VIT chennai and they give you placement training from start of the third year. Many multinational companies like google, microsoft etc comes to VIT to pick students for their company. Almost 98 percent of the students gets places in VIT. After my degree I choose to sit for placements.
