Remarks

English is a compulsory subject to do BCA from LPU. I have written Lpunest to avail scholarship, LPUNEST is not compulsory for BCA to join. I would recommend others to join LPU as they do their best as possible

Course Curriculum Overview

I have chosen this course because I like Computer Application, The faculty is next level they do conduct Induction for Freshers which is Enjoyable, the teacher are well qualified and their teachings are well.

Internships Opportunities

As I have not appeared in Internship I can say about it but I can say that companies visit LPU as, When you get admission in LPU you would be provided with UMS from UMS you can see which companies are visiting LPU with its package and Interns

Placement Experience

From the 5th semester, students get eligible for On-Campus Placements, So many companies visit LPU for placements. The dedicated Placements cell helps you to get as best a package as possible, the highest package received was 23L LPA

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee for BCA is nearly 76000 but u can avail yourself scholarship via 10/+2 boards or else LPUNEST u can get a 50% scholarship via this medium they also have another scholarship scheme like Army sports. It's up to you to do hard work and avail more scholarship

Campus Life

When it comes to fests LPU is the best, Fests which are organised by LPU are really enjoyable. LPU Central Library is next level, Sports complex is there, Olimpic Size swimming pool is there, GYM facilities available.

Hostel Facilities

If you avail Hostel they are types of seater like 1,2,3,4,7,12,16 seater Apartment dormitory are available, AC and Non AC available it's up to you which you can afford in LPU, if you avail Hostel you get bed, Almirah, Study Table, Plastic Chair. No Mattress would be provided. Meal in LPU is quite ok, food court are there etc.

Placement Experience:

In our college we have the max amount of placement is 45 lakhs which is preety good for the student who got it. For placement they also train us for our communication skills , technical skills, general knowledge skills. They give chance to all the students to give the interview in which the company can interested in us. In the last semesters or last second semesters we can eligible for the placement. The companies visited in our college like MICROSOFT, TCS, AMAZON, GOOGLE, VIPRO, IBM. My plans after getting the degree is that to find the job for in-college placement. In BCA the companies can hier us in 5 lakhs to 10 lakhs package.

Best College in North India

Placement Experience:

I heard a lot about this college as this is the best college in north India for placement, which is true also, but not for mechanical. Only CS and ECE students get placed during campus placement, but wait, it's not that easy as the placement is done along with students of C.G.C Jhanjeri and Chandigarh University. So for every job, there are hundreds of students competing. Placement cells are very friendly and they help a lot during placement time and grooming sessions.

Placement Experience:

1) The students become eligible for placements in their last semester. 2)The companies visited are Microsoft, Tcs and lupin .there are no of offers made by the companies to various students. 3)The highest package is 30lpa and average package is 8lpa and profiles offered are of software engineer, software test engineer, etc. 4)Almost 80 percent of students got placed in every companies. 5)My plan is to do a master degree after my getting the degree.

Remarks:

Every thing have a good and a bad side in it. Let's take positive first. This university offers a great infrastructure and accommodation facilities. This university can be a heaven for sports lover. There are many clubs where you can show and enhanced your skills. Going through the negative prospective some times food of mess become a threat. And the faculty as I discussed earlier needs to be updated.

Why I chose LPU ?

I haven't applied to other colleges, although I have researched enough about them and can say why I chose LPU ? Firstly, the flexible and new curriculum which allows us to be prepared according to the new tech's need. Alumni mentors informs us about the current scenario from time to-time.
