Course Curriculum Overview

Computer Science is the most evergreen field and hence I chose this course. The faculties are well trained and friendly with the students. There are three internal exams per semester. They are not so tough to pass.

Internships Opportunities

Internships are a must for every student. The faculties provide great support in order to make the students apply for internships. There is an internship cell that helps the students with internship opportunities.

Placement Experience

The students are placed from the 6th semester. Several companies visit here for job offers. The highest package is 12 lakh per annum and the lowest package is 3 lakh per annum. About 90 per cent of the students get placed every year.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee for a Computer science course is 95 thousand per year. The first graduate students can avail a scholarship of 25 thousand per year. Single-parent, and corona scholarships are also provided in this college.

Campus Life

Sports are given much importance here. There is a huge collection of books in the library. The fests and events take place during the second semester. There are more than 30 clubs in the college. The students can make use of it as per their interests.

Is VIT worth it

Placement Experience:

Placements in VIT UNIVERSITY is very good the average package is 8 lakhs and the Highest may go upto 1 crore every year.There is a separate placement cell in VIT chennai and they give you placement training from start of the third year. Many multinational companies like google, microsoft etc comes to VIT to pick students for their company. Almost 98 percent of the students gets places in VIT. After my degree I choose to sit for placements.
