Remarks

Students can apply for this course through either TNEA counseling or the Management quota. The application form is available on the college website. First graduate students can avail of a discount of 25 thousand rupees per year. There are several other welfare schemes for students.

Course Curriculum Overview

Computer Science is an evergreen field that has a high scope in the future. Also, I have a deep interest in the tech side. Hence I chose this course. There is 3 internals per semester. Exams are not so tough to pass.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 95000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Internship opportunities are provided here through the internship cell. Internships are a must for the students. The staffs encourage the students to apply for Internship opportunities. Students apply through the Internshala website.

Placement Experience

3.5

From the 6th semester, students are eligible for campus placements. Several companies like Amazon, TCS, and Accenture visit here for placements. The highest package was 12lakhs per annum. Around 90 percent of the students are placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees for CSE is 95000 which is the highly paid course here because of its demand. The average fee for courses is around 60 thousand. Several scholarships are given to the students like Single parent Scholarship, Corona Scholarships, etc.

Campus Life

Several tech-related events are held here in the second semester. Students are encouraged to attend the events. Sports day usually happens during the second semester. More than 30 clubs are active on campus. Students can join them as per their wish.

Is VIT worth it

Placement Experience:

Placements in VIT UNIVERSITY is very good the average package is 8 lakhs and the Highest may go upto 1 crore every year.There is a separate placement cell in VIT chennai and they give you placement training from start of the third year. Many multinational companies like google, microsoft etc comes to VIT to pick students for their company. Almost 98 percent of the students gets places in VIT. After my degree I choose to sit for placements.
