Entrance Preview
I took PGCET (Post Graduation Common Entrance Test) conducted by state of karnataka, India. I got a rank of 8204 in the entrance test.I was always facinated by the concept of robotics and being an electronic engineer , it became clear where my interest lies.
Internships Opportunities
Robotics is a new domain in india and there are very fewer companies available for internship. So we were left to do projects on our own regarding Automation and robotics. So, No internship support and thus no stipend.
Placement Experience
Even though the placement for graduate program in engineering was good , there was no campus placement opportunities for students doing masters. There is an unsolved dilemma in this part of the world that students doing masters are more inclined to become a lecturer. So, unfortunately there was no placement opportunities for us in the campus.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarships are available for specific caste category students. The SC/ST's have 100% redemption of fees .General category students should pay complete fees. Loans are available in varies banks. Preferred bank is the national bank (SBI). So, if criteria set by the bank is passed, banks will give loans for the course.
Alumni/Alumna
The college is 15 years in the making. Thus not a old enough college to have a huge network of aluminis. There will be a alumini function once a year inviting all the senior students.
