Remarks
Admission for this course is done through CCMT counselling which is a counselling process for M.Tech courses of all NITs in India. The eligibility for this course includes a graduation degree in mechnaical, electrical or electronics engineering with a valid GATE score in the specialization of graduation course.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum was very professional. Every semester, the evaluation of the teaching-learning process is done through mini, mid, and end-term examinations with individual subject seminars which students have to give in order to earn credits to get the degree. Also, all of the faculty members in the department were holders of doctoral degrees which indicates their expertise in the field.
Fees and Financial Aid
The course includes four-semester hence fees should be submitted four times in two years. As only GATE-qualified students were given admission in this course, so all of them got a stipend from the Ministry of Education, India every month. Apart from a stipend, students of reserved categories get a waiver in tuition fees.
Campus Life
The campus life is very peaceful. We have different clubs for multiple activities and a very big sports complex where facilities for both indoor and outdoor sports are available. We have a central library and a departmental library. Classrooms are less with all the digital facilities.
