Course Curriculum Overview
Every semester, it isn't difficult to pass at all if attention to class is paid. Practicals are a little tougher to get thru, but guidance from faculty will enable good results. Theory exams are easier, offline calls for a lot of writing and online digs deep into words.
Internships Opportunities
B.Sc. HHA has a mandatory one-semester industrial training, the institute sets up proper placements for it. All major players in the industry come up to get interns for them. This training is tough and usually no or almost no stipend is given. Students can also do vocational training, during their vacations, they have to apply for that individually.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is well established, there are grey areas but every government establishment has that. It includes your lunch if the institute is running normally, material for practical classes and exams, locker fee, ID card, everything.
Campus Life
Social life at IHM is a Lil strict, boundaries are set between juniors and seniors, and seniors are meant to constantly remind you of these boundaries because of the same you'll find in the industry. However, there are always great seniors who can guide you and help you out, be your friend whenever you need them. Cultural clubs exist, singing, dancing, drama, music, photography, tourism club, and teams for each major subject, Food Production, Front Office, Decor and Service. You can enrol for as many as you want with some restrictions put up by the faculty.
