Remarks

There isn't any entrance exam. You could apply for admission in the college website admission portal itself. All details are provided on the college website. For this course, you should opt for mathematics in 11 and 12 classes.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because computer science is more relevant nowadays. It offers lots of job opportunities. Faculties are very nice to students. Their teaching quality is really appreciable. There are two internal exams and one external exam each semester. It is moderately difficult to pass the exams.

Class Size: 23Course Fees: INR 13500 per year

Placement Experience

In our college, campus placements are available in the 5th semester. There are many companies namely Wipro, TCS, Deloitte, etc. Every year 70% of students are placed in different companies. If I got placed in a well-recruited company, I will go for that job. Or I'll do my master's in computer application.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are many scholarships available for students. Most of them are provided by the government. There are scholarships based on your marks. They are provided by the college. In each department, different scholarships are awarded every year.

Campus experience is average. Because our college doesn't provide any wide campus range. But there are programs conducted by our union and different clubs. The library is quite impressive. Classrooms are satisfactory. Our college provides importance for sports very well.

Why you should/shouldn't join LISSAH

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is almost best. Curriculum doesn't influenced me in deciding this course. Curriculum should add internships. Currently there is no mandatory internship, if students are interested they can do internship during vacations. As we are learning psychology which need to be practiced in real world settings, curriculum must include real world training to help students understand things more effectively. Currently intervel between exams are non existent. Internal exams, then semester exams, you blink once, next internal exams, followed by semester exams. Syllabus is understandable, can learn if you try. Exams are also manageable. Real world examples and stories can be included in teaching methods, as psychology is related to humans and human interaction, to get better grasp of concepts. Rather than focusing on passing exam, should focus on the concepts and understand them in-depth. There are a lot of theories to study by heart. And there are many repetitive topics that overlap, but in different semesters.

I chose Bsc electronics, it has an attractive curriculum and some of them are influenced me in some way. The facilities are well-known about the curriculum preparing and all. The current curriculum is good but it needs some changes. Include more practicals is one of my suggestion. Teaching methods are good it doesn't need any change. Exams are conducted by Kerala University, so the college can't do anything in main exams but the college will complete all the portions before the exam date it is sure.
