Remarks

I got admission through the ACPC ranking. LDCE is one of the top most Government Engineering college in Gujarat. The application fees is around 1500 on ACPC, and as it is government college, overall year's college fees doesn't exceed 4000. The admission process is completely through ACPC, and it is the best one, no improvement needed there.

Course Curriculum Overview

From 10th Std. I decided to pursue Chemical Engineering, and I went on with it. The faculty here is awesome, with a healthy faculty:student ratio. Many faculty are form IITs and some of the top most colleges/universities of India. Almost all of them are master graduate and many of them also with PhD. The terms exam were time conducted, with the difficulty level between medium and hard.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 2500 per year

Placement Experience

Many placements are done. The average salary of 40 students placed from a total of 70 in the Chemical Engineering 2022 batch till today stands above 5.5 LPA. Companies like Reliance, Cairn Oil, Adani, Tata Chemicals, L&T, Atul Ltd., GNFC, GFL, Zydus, Deepak Group, etc have visited and recruited students this year.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees are very nominal compared to private engineering colleges. There are many government scholarships available, but you have to apply by yourself. I got an MYSY scholarship from Gujarat Govt. Colleges also help with placement, companies like Reliance, Adani, L&T, GSFC, GNFC, GFL, Nayara, Conga, HSBC, etc coming for recruitment.

Campus Life

Many annual festivals are held here. Lakshay is the most important one. Other festivals are the Tarang fair, Rang Amazin, and many more conducted by different Student clubs from the college. Some student clubs are, Robocon, Tarang Space Club, Rotract, Vox Populi, and many more.

LIfe and Learning at PDEU

Placement Experience:

At PDEU, students become eligible after the 7th semester for the campus placements . Many top companies like IBM, Cognizant, JP Morgan Chase &Co. , TCS and many more. the highest package that went in my batch was 13-20 LPA whereas the average package is 7-8 LPA as per the company and profiles. Mostly 80-85%of the students got placed every year. Some students also goes for the higher studies or for their family bussiness.My plan after getting the degree is to join a AI/IoT company at better package.

Placement Experience:

My college provide internship and placement from 3rd year of course and student must not have any pending backlog in placement cell. There is many company come for recruitment if i give some name is torrent power, TCS, E infochips, adani power many. The student get highest package is around 20 LPA and the avg package is around 3 4 lpa and around 70 to 80 percent student got placed every year.
