Remarks

Admission was by Centac counselling based on the 12th cut-off. I have availed myself sports quota to get admission. There are no minimum marks required to join this institute. There are merit seats as well as self-supporting seats available.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is bit older & 90% of the faculty are good. The faculty-student ratio is 1:10. CAT exams will be conducted thrice a semester and each semester will be having 1 pre-model and 2 model examinations.

Placement Experience

Placements are really good 90% of recruitment of from IT domain. Almost 90% of students are placed every year. The highest package would be 7.5 to 9 LPA and the average would be 4 LPA. Form 7th semester students are eligible to attend placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are affordable and students who had joined on a merit basis through Centac counselling will receive a scholarship amount of 25,000 per year based on their academic performance. The placements are really good.

Campus Life

Technical symposiums and cultural events occur every 3 to 4 years and fewer sports events. NSS events will be organised frequently. Students are allowed to participate in other college events and symposiums.

Hostel Facilities

3 sharing room with AC and non AC facility with gym and mess. Meal quality is above average. Morning coffee will be provided and evening tea and snacks will be provided and at night milk will be provided. weekly twice nonveg.

As I have aimed to get addmission in st Joseph's College of engineering in Chennai in councelling. But due to some circumstances I couldn't get seat in that college. Due to parents opinion i have joined in sri manakula Vinayagar enginnering college. Comparison between st Joseph's and sri manakula Vinayagar enginnering college is cannot be done because of cost of living will be different from Chennai.
