Remarks

The admissions process was based on merit. The cut off mark is based on the requirement given by GU. The minimum eligibility for taking admission in any of the life science department as per norms of Gauhati University.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course biotechnology is purely based on practical applications and it is having a wide scope in the future in genetic and research level. The term exams are conducted in proper time and with proper difficulty level by the college faculty.

Class Size: 35Course Fees: INR 72000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Right now the per semester fees is Rs35000. There is a good probability to get scholarships and everything about scholarships are informed in by our respected faculties. The college also organise various kinds of workshops for its students.

Campus Life

The infrastructure of the college is good. There is sufficient practical labs to carry out experiments. The library provides us any book related to our course and the classrooms are well organised for each and every student.

The teachers should condier the students who do not understand Assamese and try to use it as less as possible during the class for the convenience of the student who do not understand the language at all. The frequency and timing of the exam is quite good and I would like it to be the way it is.

• I always loved plants, trees and forest as my father is from Forest background. So, I wanted to walk on his footsteps and do something is same background. I always dreamt of making a change in the society and serve the society so I choose Botany subject. •The curriculum is planned in such a way that we learn both theoretically and practically, we go on field trips where we interact with common people and do surveys that will help us in future while working on the department •There is no such areas that needs improvement, I like the way it is going on and the teaching method is also nice, only the thing is there should not be so many classes in one day, as a student gets very exhaust •The frequency and timing of exams is that in sessional its 25 marks with 1 hour 30 minutes and its easy to moderate, and 2nd is final which is of 50 marks with 2 hours 30 minutes and its moderate to hard
