Course Curriculum Overview
Six semesters and six subjects in each. Gave me a funnel to filter out and analyse the business news vs rumour. A whole new world to know about. The curriculum makes it compulsory for one to be active on everything else happening on campus. Fests, celebrations, department fests. Everything great everything beautiful.
Internships Opportunities
The college does have few companies coming over for internship opportunities. Back in my time, gold man Sachs was the fad. It was also impossible sometimes to get through. Over the years they have considered different roles to which they will be different tests. The stipend is about 30k a month
Placement Experience
Not very great I can say. There are brands coming in. But the profiles are to be thought about. Gold man Sachs, Deloitte, DE Shaw, ANZ, TCS, Amazon are a few to name
College Events
Cul -ah the most awaited fest all over Bangalore. Three days and it's make you want to regret not being able to be in multiple places at once. There are individual department fests by commerce department, business management department. Travel and tourism. There are also individual days for celebrating hindi day. There are also many clubs that one can get into.
Fee Structure And Facilities
It is feasible for most courses. For some like BBM, B.COM II, they are peaked.
Fees and Financial Aid
Loan facilities yes. They co-operate in giving the necessary documents. There also are scholarships involved. All the details in the student calender given at the start of each year
Campus Life
Great campus, comfortable vibe. Sense of belongingness there always is something exciting happening in every corner of the campus. There is a lot to do and to little time to explore and experience it all. Lot of clubs that one can be a part of. Street dance, western dance Indian dance, western music, indian music, Ncc, nss. Hostel Facilities
Hostel facilities are nice. The WiFi isn't a great experience. The hostel food us okay because you have no choice.
Alumni/Alumna
Well, the head of Biocon, Ms. Kiran Majumdar, many big names from Bollywood like Anushka Sharma, Deepika Padukone are all our alumni. The network is huge. They are indeed helpful.
Exam Structure
Broadly, internals and externals. 2 internals conducted for + class participation or assignments + attendance weigh upto 50 marks per subject For even send internals would be around July and August. Odd SEM Jan and feb. Externals or end of sem 50 marks. Makes it a 100
Admission
After the entrance test of aptitude, Gk and vocab, which was easy me being a science student, the results were declared over the weekend on a physical list in the college. The following Monday we were called for interview. Nothing technical. It's about they getting to know their students superficially.
Faculty
Most of the faculty that the college has have been a part of research studies. They have got their own papers to talk about. They know what they are dealing with.
