Remarks

The admission process was based on JEE Main score and was conducted through JOSSA. After that, a mail was received from the college informing about the admission process was done on-site at NIT Jamshedpur. All the notices regarding the admission process were uploaded on the NIT Jsr site (student section).

Course Curriculum Overview

the most impressive reason behind choosing this course is the placement, the placement of ECE at NIT Jsr is above the mark and increasing by the year. the faculty-student ratio is good and all faculties are PhD from IITs and NIT, they are humble and focus on the overall improvement of students. the term exams are always on time and the difficulty level of questions is very high so it is very difficult to pass the exam.

Internships Opportunities

companies such as Microsoft, Amazon, Flipkart, adobe, meesho, myntra, TCS etc and many more visited the campus with roles varying from company to company. The stipend was also offered to all the interns hired which was a fairly good amount.

Placement Experience

the placement record of NIT Jsr is very awesome and increasing by the year. students are eligible after 3rd year for placements provided by the college but they can try off-campus placements according to the company's requirements. the overall average package of 2k21 was 14.72 lakh per annum and the highest package was 70 lakh per annum with a tremendously good placement percentage of 97.2 percent.

Fees and Financial Aid

cost to study is very affordable when compared to other private institutes and also there are many opportunities for scholarships, for girls, there are many additional scholarships and there are also category criteria for semester fees.

Campus Life

there are many annual and tech fests organised in the institute like culfest, Ojas, urja. all kinds of books are present in the library. every kinds of sports facilities is available like basketball, cricket, football, badminton, table tennis, and all other indoor games.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel facilities for first-year students are average with all basic facilities like table, fan, chair, cupboard, and the bed is provided in each room the quality of mess food is also average for first-year but for 2nd, 3rd and 4th-year students the facilities are tremendously good.

AFFORDABLE EDUCATION WITH SCOPE FOR GROWTH

Placement Experience:

after 7 th semester we are eligible for placement a very companies come here to visit cause earlier some of companies comes here but they don't get quality student so they just stop to coming here however for palcement top candidates are selected and sent to tecno india kolkata as this college is managed by tecno india group where after interview they got placement so if you have good knowledge and coding skills may be you got a interview call some companies like acceture and wipro comes here the ece branch and cse branch got some placements. i don't know the exact numbers but in last year around 25 offers was made among which the most paying was 9 lacs per annum secured by a senior name harsh dwivedi from cse branch here's the profile linkedin. com/in/harsh-dwive di-208b00228/. most of the students from opt for higher studies or psus through GATE and my objective is also same opting for M.TECH.

I applied for NIT Raipur NIT Durgapur and NIT prayagraj I selected this college NIT Jamshedpur because it has top class placement and the branch I was getting as mechanical engineering which is a decent branch. I got rejected from NIT prayagraj due to little less rank . The admission process of my colleges you have to qualify JEE mains with around 95 percentile to get any branch as a general student then you have to go for Josaa counselling in which you will be a lot at the seat . I did choose this college because it is quite old and reputed, being a govt college it has lesser fees and offered good placements, I got IIIT Lucknow as well, but didn't opt for it as it was quite new and didn't have proper hostel and residence facilities at that moment.
