Decent college with great placement

One needs to clear JEE MAIN with a good rank to opt for this college. Jee is held by JAB( previously by NTA) every year. The application fees are Rs325 for girls or sc/St and Rs 650 for boys. Reservation benefits are provided by JOSAA, which organises counselling for admission, to OBC, SC/ST and EWS students. So far, the admission process is good!

We need to give two exams, mid-sem and end sem every semester. Passing an exam is never a problem but if you want to be on the top, you need to work a little hard. No viva is there in mid sem but we need to give viva during end sem, and practicals are also taken during end sem.

200+ students were offered internship opportunities this year, most of them were from non-core branches like CSE, ECE and we, while some of the interns were from core branches like civil, meta, etc too. There were 122 summer interns and 326 6-month interns in the year 2022

Placement is the only thing that attracts students to select this college over other colleges surrounding it. This year, we got a whooping 97.2% of placement %, which is too good to be good. Around 850+ offers were made and 230+ companies made the offer. The average was 14.72lpa for the whole batch passed this year. And the highest placement was 72.5 LPA from the ECE department. 200+ students were offered internship opportunities.

Frankly speaking, I didn't get any scholarship as I am a general student but there are many, like seriously a lot of students who are obc or sc/St, who have got scholarships like NSP, e-Kalyan, etc. But yes, there is remission given to students on the basis of family income, like whose income is less than 1lac, are provided with full remission, and whose income is between 1-5lac are provided with 2/3 remission, irrespective of categories like general & all, which I appreciate!

We have 3 major fests and several minor fests organised by several clubs individually. OJAS, CULFEST & URJA are the major fests organised every year. OJAS is a technical fest, CULFEST, as the name suggests, is a cultural fest and URJA is a sports fest, which is organised with great enthusiasm. The Library is very grand and is full of books for different courses. There is a separate room of books for SC/St students. We can issue the books and study in the library the whole day, up to 9.00 PM. Sports are given utmost importance here, as a lot of sports events are organised, and students are encouraged to play different types of sports like cricket, football, table tennis, badminton, volleyball, basketball, etc and the good thing is, all the sports equipment are provided by college itself. There are 60+ clubs for different aspects but around 30 are very active. Some cultural clubs are FACES, ROOH, etc and some technical clubs are PHOENIX, RAYS, etc

The hostel and mess facilities are very good especially from the 2nd yr. We have Mega hostels and mega mess from 2nd yr and u will get single rooms from 2nd year. 4 times food a day, which is also good like all the mess foods around the globe. U don't need to register for hostels and all, u are provided with hostels as per your roll numbers.
