Remarks
All the details of the college are given on its official website. If anyone wants an average college at low fees then it is good. But Poornima college of engineering is very bad at time management. In our 1st year, we have classes from 8:00 A.M. to 3:30 P.M. and we have so many work assignments and lab records. In the 2nd semester, we didn't get enough time for self-study. And the faculty of 1st year also not so good. You have to study yourself. The infrastructure of the college is also not so good. There are enough classrooms and labs. They mainly focus on theory. Some fests and events also occur in college but very rarely.
Course Curriculum Overview
The faculty in 1st year is not so good. You have to study yourself mostly. The ratio of faculty and students is 1:35. During 1st year most of the faculty is an assistant professors. 2 internal exams will be held every semester. They are not so tough. If you are an average student you can clear the exams with good marks
Placement Experience
Students get eligible for placement after the 6th semester. 20+ companies visit the college for placement. Some companies are Wipro, Accenture, TCS, Infosys, Vivo, etc. The highest placement in 2021 is 21 lakh per annum and the average package is 3.1 lakh per annum. Almost 90% of students get on-campus placement.
Fees and Financial Aid
The total fees including exam fees and enrollment etc are approximately Rs.120000. Some scholarships are also given to students by college and by the Shanti education society. Most of the students get the placement of average package of 3 lakhs per annum
Campus Life
The college has a good library where almost all the books are available and students can issue them for 15 days, if they want for some more days they have to reissue the book from Library. Some sports activities are held in college. Extra curricular activities are also held in college. There are so many clubs and groups which are run by students like 'Joshila Drama Club', 'Coding Club', 'Sports Club', etc.
