ILNU accepts admissions through CLAT. However, a separate application form has to be filled out for ILNU. Once CLAT releases scores & ranks. ILNU prepared a merit list & based on your merit number you are called for the counseling & admission process
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course as I had an interest in studying law since my school days. One of the best things about this institute is its faculty. They are supportive in every manner & they believe in the student's holistic development. My teachers have supported me in understanding the difficult concepts very easily, and writing research papers. Exams here happen every semester. Exams take place twice a semester in form of mid-term examinations & semester-end examinations.
Internships Opportunities
I am currently in my 5th year & as of now, I have done more than 8 internships. I have done an internship at CEERA, NLS; NGO; Centre for Policy Research; ALG; Supreme Court. All the internships have given me a great learning experience.
Placement Experience
College provides placement every year to the passing batch. Also, the placement cell provides regular internship opportunities which open the door for PPOs. After completing my degree I wish to sit for PCS(J) exam.
Fees and Financial Aid
Institute provides scholarships on a merit & merit cum means basis. The former is based on your merit number at the time of admission & the latter takes into consideration both your merit number & annual income of your parents. I have a 100% scholarship based on merit.
Campus Life
Institute has constituted the Nirma Institute of Law Students Activities Association (NILSAA) under which there are 19 clubs & committees such as Moot Court committee, ADR, Debate society, Dance, Music, sports, MUN, Photography, quiz, etc. All these clubs & committees regularly organize events & competitions which makes the college culture very vibrant. For instance, for freshers' the music committee organizes an event called Tangerine, the sports committee organizes the fresher's cup, etc. ILNU also holds National Fest called 'Connaissance'. It is all managed & run by the students completely.
