I got admission in nit JSR by Jossa and CSAB counselling which is conducted after clearing jee mains. Through online mode, all paper verification also happens online mode itself by uploading pdf document on their site.

Truly, I choose civil engineering because of rank and I am now happy and eager to learn about civil engineering in nit JSR. Faculty-student ratio is almost 1:15 All teachers are highly qualified most of them are PhD scholars from IITs. And they are very supportive in nature. Exams are conducted in a timely, and if you study well you will easily pass with good marks.

Almost all Indian and MNCs company visit our college. All big companies like Amazon, Deloitte, and Accenture visit and recruit students every year, this year in 2022 highest package goes to 72.5 LPA. And u will get internships from the second and third year onwards.

Our college placement is very good it is around 97.2% with an average package of 14.72 LPA. You will internship of you are eligible for companies criteria and also for placement. I am in a civil branch which has a placement percentage of 91.4% with an average package of almost 9 lakh which is far better than many nits. In the civil branch.

The cost of the study is almost 2,08,000 per year if you are the general candidate and your family income is more than 5 lakh per annum. But there u can apply for many scholarships. for students whose family income is less than 5 lakh but more than 1 lakh, they will get a 2/3rd refund in tuition fee. And if the student is sc or st or their family income is less than 1 lakh their tuition fee is fully refunded.

Life on campus is very chill and enjoyable. Except at the time of exams. The library is very well maintained and u will get all types of in the library. Classrooms are equipped with modern technology and fully ac. The annual cultural fest is culfest which is very enjoyable. And the annual sports fest is urja. The annual technical fest is ojass . In college, you find almost all types of clubs or social groups like NSS, NCC, Phoneix.. and many more.

In first year, students get double bed room means in one room two students. but from second year onward all gets single room in mega hostel which is very good, I have only listen this from senior because I am currently in first year student. Mess food is ok ok. Some hygiene issue u will found. Lan sometimes not work properly. But you will easily get pg in localities..
