Bu clearing the jee mains u can get admission in this college Reservation benifit includes sc st obc reserve seats 27? No all is good in admission process Minimum elgibility creteria for admission is clearing jee mains by at least 93 percentile

Course Curriculum Overview

I choosed civil engineering for betterment of the infrastructure of our country Faculty is to student ratio is very good alternate opportunity of professor is there All the faculty are qualified upto phd level We have our term exam in nearly every 3 months and it was difficult to pass as the exam rule is strict even u will expelled out of the college in a case

In the sixth semester you will eligible for the campus placement opportunity Telco samsung tata microsoft and many more different companies visited Higest pakage in cs is 57 lakhs pre annum and average is something about 17 lakhs To take placement and settle in life

Fee structure is Tuition fee 62000 Mess 16000 Hostel 15000 Here there is no scholarship opportunities but u can get a remission in ur fee if u are below caste or if ur family income is between 1 lakh to 5 lakh

Many annual fest occur in the college these includes kalash urja daksh etc There is lots of Avability of book in the central Library Sports field is very active here u will get opportunity to play cricket football between inter branch or also intra collge

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facilities is also quite good u will get a neat and clean room english and indian bathroom both and also the meal here quite good u will get a hygiene food which was served in good manner Registration process includes ur id card and allotment letter Not locality or pg need u have to stay in hostels

Overall Review of NIT Jamshedpur

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum exam ready for students of mechanical engineering it focuses on industrial level exposure and for other competitive exams like gate and IES with good faculty who teaches almost all concepts. There are labs for each subject in which we get real world application knowledge. Also course is updated regularly as per the requirement of industry . The course can we improved by making course more practical rather than a writing all things on practical it should include project for students. Frequency of exam is that in every 15 days there is a exam with moderate to difficult level.

7th Semester students become eligible for placements. The highest package is offered by Rubrik in 2025 of 1.41 CR(domestic) High paying jobs are mostly for SWE/SDE roles. Percentage of students getting placed in CSE/AIML is 75, ECE 69, EEE 60, Mech 58. My plans after gettting degree is to get into job sector only for a while. No such higher education plans as such.

At BIT Mesra third is like full of practice for placements and final year more of placements activities than studies. So, when all these things are in order placements obviously will be more or less certain and here they are certain only with almost 90% students are places through campus with annual placements of 8-10 lakhs per annum.

A Genuine Review

Placement Experience:

From 5th Semester onwards student are eligible for internship but from 7th semester they are allowed to sit in campus. Various companies like PayPal, Wipro , cognizant ,TCS ,Genpact ,Amdocs etc. Highest Package this year is 35 lpa and Average Package is around 7.5 lpa. Around 90% of students from circuital branch and around 80% students from non-circuital branch has been placed so far this year. My plan is prepare very smartly for campus placements and bag a very good PPO from are tech based company.

I applied for NIT Raipur NIT Durgapur and NIT prayagraj I selected this college NIT Jamshedpur because it has top class placement and the branch I was getting as mechanical engineering which is a decent branch. I got rejected from NIT prayagraj due to little less rank . The admission process of my colleges you have to qualify JEE mains with around 95 percentile to get any branch as a general student then you have to go for Josaa counselling in which you will be a lot at the seat . I did choose this college because it is quite old and reputed, being a govt college it has lesser fees and offered good placements, I got IIIT Lucknow as well, but didn't opt for it as it was quite new and didn't have proper hostel and residence facilities at that moment.
