Delhi's heart Safdarjung Hospital

Eligibility of the course is that you've from PCMB or PCB background with 60% marks in all subjects and 50% in English. You have to fill out the application form for the Ipu CET exam. The information is all given on the ipu website where is an admission brochure you can check each and every detail on how to fill the form. There is a reservation also for SC/ST/OBC/DEF. You can get admission through the defence - army, air force, navy. At IPU there are three colleges for BSc MLT courses so, in every college, there is only one seat for a defence brat. So you've to study hard and get a good rank in the ipu CET exam so that you get one seat through any reservation. If you avail this reservation there is some relaxation for you.

I choose this course because on the 11th and 12th I opted for biology. I have always wanted to be part of the medical field. Every student's dream is to become a doctor if he/she opted for biology if you become a doctor you've confidence and courage but if you didn't have these qualities then becoming a doctor is worthless. So I didn't have the courage to save one life and do surgery and I think about paramedical that have a wonderful impact in this time. In COVID time we all want medicine so our lab workers are doing their job to make effective medicine. This course is best for a student if you are interested in diseases, and blood, and know how to play and set the microscope. The faculties are really good they all are friendly with the students because they all are doctors and know how to deal with the patients and patients are the same as students. They always teach us in a simplified manner so that we can understand everything related to our medical.

Safdarjung Hospital is itself a name if you go anywhere and see them a certificate that you studied from this college then you get easily get a job. In this college we didn't need to do internships after college we can do an internship with our regular college and the best thing is that this college give us 3 years to do the internship

Related to fees this is a medical government college so fees are less than a private medical college. The VMMC and Safdarjung hospital comes under the IPU so firstly we have to pay the admission fee to the university which is 40,000 which will be refunded after the course and the annual fee that we've to give the college is 15,000 including tuition fees and security money. So total fees in 3 years are 45,000. There is also a scholarship for SC/ST/OBC students you can't afford that much money. Some amount of money is refunded to the students who will submit their scholarship forms. About the job, Safdarjung hospital is the heart of Delhi after AIIMS people are coming to Safdarjung for their treatment. So this college has very much importance after completing this course you can get a job in any government or private hospital or in Safdarjung itself. The internship is also there in this college you don't need to do internship after college you can do an internship in the 1st 2nd 3rd year.

In Library there are so many books from different publishers Indian and international both authors and quantity of books are there. Even our professor has published one book for the students. We have 2 library cards so that we can issue books more and more and their validity is 14 days after 14 days you can reissue that book. We have anatomy (demonstration hall) where we have demonstrated the organs, and bones, in the cadaver. In physiology, we have labs where microscopes are there and we can observe tissues. In the biochemistry lab, we've chemicals and equipment And the foremost subject is biostatistics which is not present in every college. Sports and extracurricular activities are also doing themselves in the college Intermatches between the students. And if you really interested in social groups, clubs then you can join NCC and NSS through IPU where you get such a good platform for social work and get a certificate also after completing NSS and NCC which will work on your personality also
