Good And Affordable College in Central India

If you want admission to JEC Jabalpur for B Tech then you need a valid jee mains rank. The admission is done through DTE MP BE Counselling organised by DTE Bhopal in online mode. All the information about admission process dates is provided on the DTE MP BE Counselling website. All the Reservation that has been imposed by central and state government are provided by the college. College gives Medhavi Vidhyarti Yojana scholarships for GEN students, OBC Scholarship, SC-ST Scholarship etc. If you are from GEN -OBC category and Are fit for a Scholarship then you only need to pay 3300/- at the time of admission for the first year and then 969/- per year. This college is one of India's Cheapest colleges in fees. The admission process is well structured and well organised as many Counselling rounds are organised for the admission.

In our College we have 7 branches in B. Tech i.e CS, IT, EC, EE, CIVIL, MECH and IP and you will get a branch based on your Jee rank. Every branch has different strength seats. I am in the EE branch with total class strength of 70. Many other branches have 120 students. There are a big number of faculty in our college. The faculty are almost all M.Tech from IIT Or Phd ones that are employed by Central Government. Exams are conducted timely every 6 months in semesters. Exams are not too tough but need a full one-month of study.

Campus placements are provided for students from the 7th semester. Internships are not provided by the college. Most companies are IT-based companies and want students from the IT field for placements. Some of these companies are TCS, Infosys, HCL, Tech Mahindra, Wipro etc. Almost 80% of CS-IT students get placed. Other branch students can also get placements if they are good in the IT field. The average package is almost 3.5Lpa and the highest package is about 12 Lpa. I am planning for Gate Preparation and will not opt for campus placements in the IT field.

The fees of the college are only 22500/- per year. College fees have not increased in years. We have to pay fees semester-wise every 6 months of 11000/-. If are getting a Scholarship from the college then you have to pay only 979/- per year. College provides various scholarships to the students like MMVY scholarship, Sambal Yojana scholarship, OBC, SC-ST scholarship etc. In these scholarship whole fees comes back and we also get an extra 5000-7000 in our scholarly amount for our needs. As the fee is too low Financial assistance is not provided. Jobs are provided in Campus placements.

Many fests are conducted in college namely JEC -Avahhan, Aureole, JLUG meeting etc. Our college has many clubs like RAAG(music), Drama club, JLUG( coding Club) etc. The library is full of books and we can take 3 books per semester from the library to study and can return after the end of the semester. Sports is not much motivated in college but an event known as AVAhan is organised Annually which is a sports event and all sports competitions are organised between various branches. We also have JEC Cricket Team, Football Team etc.

Our college has 9 boys hostel and 3 girls hostel that are fully own by government with fees of only 2500/- per year. Mess fees is 2200/- per year. Hostel rooms are provided with Bed, Table, Chair, Fan and Wall almirah etc. Mess have dining table, Water cooler and hostel bathrooms have water facility. Mess food is average but you can opt for tiffin Or some other restaurants if you want. Hostel is provided by college on the basis of your rank in jee and Caste reservation. If you din't get College hostel then you can opt for private hostel Or private rooms. About 100 m from college private hostel and rooms are available for Students. The nearby Locality is good.
