Remarks

You to write a paper of Jee mains through which you can get admission in nits. You to apply through nta.nic.in for jee mains, application fees is 650 and date is around Feb to June depending upon the situation. I belong to the obc category.

Course Curriculum Overview

I did choose this course because my rank is low that's why I got into this college. Approximately 250 faculty and 750 students The faculty are Ph.D. scholars from its and the teaching method is good. The midterm paper is taken after 2 months and the term paper is taken after 2 months of Midem.

In our college, many companies visits for internship and many students get an internship from Amazon, Microsoft, etc. 300 offers were made from our college this year And a good stipend. Our college is also good for internship

Placement Experience

Placement will start from starting of the 7th semester. Companies like Samsung, Microsoft, Amazon, Flipkart, mesh roll elite, Mercedes, tata steel, Larsen, and turbo and 900 are offers made. The placement is very good.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure had tuition fees of around 98000 per year and mess fees are 32000 per year. College gives fee remission on the basic annual income those who have income less than 1lakh will get full remission of tuition fees and above 1lakh and below 5lakh will get 2/3rd fee remission of tuitions.

Campus Life

The annual fest is a cult fest conducted during mid-April and the techfest is get conducted during June. The library is good and all books are available and we can take books to study. In our college, eevery sportshad its playing ground.

Hostel Facilities

In our hostel one bed, one table, one chair, two cupboards, two lights, and a loan facility is available. The hostel is good and all facilities are available in our hostel. Mess food is good and daily we get four-time food.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum exam ready for students of mechanical engineering it focuses on industrial level exposure and for other competitive exams like gate and IES with good faculty who teaches almost all concepts. There are labs for each subject in which we get real world application knowledge. Also course is updated regularly as per the requirement of industry . The course can we improved by making course more practical rather than a writing all things on practical it should include project for students. Frequency of exam is that in every 15 days there is a exam with moderate to difficult level.

7th Semester students become eligible for placements. The highest package is offered by Rubrik in 2025 of 1.41 CR(domestic) High paying jobs are mostly for SWE/SDE roles. Percentage of students getting placed in CSE/AIML is 75, ECE 69, EEE 60, Mech 58. My plans after gettting degree is to get into job sector only for a while. No such higher education plans as such.

At BIT Mesra third is like full of practice for placements and final year more of placements activities than studies. A Genuine Review

Placement Experience:

From 5th Semester onwards student are eligible for internship but from 7th semester they are allowed to sit in campus. Various companies like PayPal, Wipro , cognizant ,TCS ,Genpact ,Amdocs etc. Highest Package this year is 35 lpa and Average Package is around 7.5 lpa. Around 90% of students from circuital branch and around 80% students from non-circuital branch has been placed so far this year. My plan is prepare very smartly for campus placements and bag a very good PPO from are tech based company.

I applied for NIT Raipur NIT Durgapur and NIT prayagraj I selected this college NIT Jamshedpur because it has top class placement and the branch I was getting as mechanical engineering which is a decent branch. I got rejected from NIT prayagraj due to little less rank . The admission process of my colleges you have to qualify JEE mains with around 95 percentile to get any branch as a general student then you have to go for Josaa counselling in which you will be a lot at the seat . I did choose this college because it is quite old and reputed, being a govt college it has lesser fees and offered good placements, I got IIIT Lucknow as well, but didn't opt for it as it was quite new and didn't have proper hostel and residence facilities at that moment.
