My view on nit Jamshedpur

We have to give Jee main exam and have to secure a good rank to get into the college. Application for jee main exam become available on NTA official website 1 month prior to main exam.No reservation is available for general students, but for Sc/St, PWD, OBC Students. I want no reservation, if there should be any reservation then only on the basis of income.

I chose this course because I want to get into the software field. There is a good faculty: student ratio. Faculties are well qualified and are very supportive and their teaching method is also good. It is an 8-semester course, so we have a total of 16 exams. 8 mid sem and 8 end sem.

Many companies come to our campus and provide internships to students. Some of them are tata motors, tata powers, telco, tata steel, NTPC, AMD radion, Intel, l&t. Software companies hire students as interns and promote them to the junior developer on the basis of performance .students make projects on web dev, Android dev, blockchain, DevOps, and also on electronics.

There is an excellent placement record here. Students get placed with a 95% placement ratio. Students become eligible for placement from the 7th semester. Most of the MNCs visit our campus and hire students at a very high CTC. Major of them are Amazon, Deloitte, Goldman Sachs, AMD Radeon, Intel, and taking Almost 95-96% of students get placed here. In our branch, the highest package till now is 72 lakh per annum.

The fee structure is moderate, tuition fee -62500 per semester, mess fee -16000 per semester, and there is an extra 27500 as an institute fee. we can take a loan from SBI at a low rate. There are also many scholarships for Sc/St students

The college has many teams like the tech team, web team, dance club, and sports club. Fests are held annually .sport month is also here after the end of sem in which every branch take participates and tries there to take take the trophy and pride. Classrooms have all basic facilities like has ac, charging plug, and projector.

The hostel room is equipped with all the basic facilities like a bed, cupboard, fan, bulb, and LAN cable. Mess food is average. There is variety in the mess menu. Registration for mess happens at the admission time only. The hostel is closer to the academic building. So we don't have to walk so much to get to the college.
