Remarks

First, we will give Jee main entrance exam and secure a good rank. It conducts mostly in month of April and May. Its application form is released in the month of December or January. It conducts two times a year so competition goes very high.

Most of the student does coding and does not properly prepare for college examination When exam left for one week or two week most of the students start reading.most of the teacher studied in IIT and did a PhD.

Our college internship started in the 5th semester. and approx 200 students got an internship in 2022 which is a very good internship. some companies like Tata Power, Tata Motors, Tata Steel, NTPC, TCS, telco, and Indian railways, bsnl, Infosys, Wipro and many more companies come.

Placement Experience

The average CTC of whole branches is 14.2lakh. and the average package of ECE branch is 18 lakh and median package is 16 lakh and the highest CTC is 72 lakh from ECE branch. the placement per cent of the ECE branch is 100 per cent.

Fees and Financial Aid

Semester-wise tuition fee is 62500 and 30500 other fees thus total institute fee is 93000 and mess fee is 16000 per semester. The total fees per semester are 109000 is finally fee. College only provides category fee remission and income fee remission.

Campus Life

The infrastructure of the college is very good And Maintenance is continued of the old academic building. last year made a new academic building which is fully air-conditioning and provides a good experience in the summer season

Hostel Facilities

The hostel room is average. But the mess food quality is very bad. the rice quality is very bad who mess provide us. in the first year, college provides us with hostel J. In hostel j we get a double bed room but in the second year we get a single bedroom which is very good for studying.

Hostel Fee: INR 55000 per year

Overall Review of NIT Jamshedpur

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum exam ready for students of mechanical engineering it focuses on industrial level exposure and for other competitive exams like gate and IES with good faculty who teaches almost all concepts. There are labs for each subject in which we get real world application knowledge. Also course is updated regularly as per the requirement of industry . The course can we improved by making course more practical rather than a writing all things on practical it should include project for students. Frequency of exam is that in every 15 days there is a exam with moderate to difficult level.

7th Semester students become eligible for placements. The highest package is offered by Rubrik in 2025 of 1.41 CR(domestic) High paying jobs are mostly for SWE/SDE roles. Percentage of students getting placed in CSE/AIML is 75, ECE 69, EEE 60, Mech 58. My plans after gettting degree is to get into job sector only for a while. No such higher education plans as such.

At BIT Mesra third is like full of practice for placements and final year more of placements activities than studies. So, when all these things are in order placements obviously will be more or less certain and here they are certain only with almost 90% students are places through campus with annual placements of 8-10 lakhs per annum.

A Genuine Review

Placement Experience:

From 5th Semester onwards student are eligible for internship but from 7th semester they are allowed to sit in campus. Various companies like PayPal, Wipro , cognizant ,TCS ,Genpact ,Amdocs etc. Highest Package this year is 35 lpa and Average Package is around 7.5 lpa. Around 90% of students from circuital branch and around 80% students from non-circuital branch has been placed so far this year. My plan is prepare very smartly for campus placements and bag a very good PPO from are tech based company.

I applied for NIT Raipur NIT Durgapur and NIT prayagraj I selected this college NIT Jamshedpur because it has top class placement and the branch I was getting as mechanical engineering which is a decent branch. I got rejected from NIT prayagraj due to little less rank . The admission process of my colleges you have to qualify JEE mains with around 95 percentile to get any branch as a general student then you have to go for Josaa counselling in which you will be a lot at the seat . I did choose this college because it is quite old and reputed, being a govt college it has lesser fees and offered good placements, I got IIIT Lucknow as well, but didn't opt for it as it was quite new and didn't have proper hostel and residence facilities at that moment.
