Remarks

After the 10th exam, I am preparing for jee mains exam and class 12th exam.The cut off of jee mains exam is 87 percentile. During class 12 exam, I am attending the jee mains and qualify the exam and after the jee mains result, i attended the jossa councelling and get the addmission in NIT JAMSHEDPUR.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course cirriculum and faculity members of NIT JAMSHEDPUR is very good whatever i expected to the college college give all facilities like accmaties, sports, good campus, etc. Spacilly the practical labs of NIT JAMSHEDPUR is good and also teachers are very helpfull.

Internships Opportunities

The internship opportunities of NIT JAMSHEDPUR is not good beacuse some students places in the internship opportunities in the NIT JAMSHEDPUR college and the internship student is not get the good money during the internship.

Placement Experience

The placements of NIT JAMSHEDPUR is very very good almost hundred percent placed in good companies within the college . So the college placement is very good and the average package campus placement students in ECE in 14 lpa which is very good.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees of NIT JAMSHEDPUR is moderate but many persons cannot affort the fees and try to take the loan, soholarship, etc. The campus jobs oppurtunity of NIT JAMSHEDPUR is good almost 100 percent of students of NIT JAMSHEDPUR placed in good compinies.

Campus Life

Life at the Campus is good like everything is hostel, foods, labruary, canting, etc. All the clubs in the NIT JAMSHEDPUR specially techenical clubs are very helpful to give the practical knewledge of engineering in the college.

Hostel Facilities

The Hostel of NIT jamshedpur is big, cleaned, beautiful, and good. The hostel facility is very very beneficial for us to live in the hostel for studing for the entire for 4 years for the b.tech course.

Overall Review of NIT Jamshedpur

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum exam ready for students of mechanical engineering it focuses on industrial level exposure and for other competitive exams like gate and IES with good faculty who teaches almost all concepts. There are labs for each subject in which we get real world application knowledge. Also course is updated regularly as per the requirement of industry . The course can we improved by making course more practical rather than a writing all things on practical it should include project for students. Frequency of exam is that in every 15 days there is a exam with moderate to difficult level.

7th Semester students become eligible for placements. The highest package is offered by Rubrik in 2025 of 1.41 CR(domestic) High paying jobs are mostly for SWE/SDE roles. Percentage of students getting placed in CSE/AIML is 75, ECE 69, EEE 60, Mech 58. My plans after gettting degree is to get into job sector only for a while. No such higher education plans as such.

At BIT Mesra third is like full of practice for placements and final year more of placements activities than studies. So, when all these things are in order placements obviously will be more or less certain and here they are certain only with almost 90% students are places through campus with annual placements of 8-10 lakhs per annum.

A Genuine Review

Placement Experience:

From 5th Semester onwards student are eligible for internship but from 7th semester they are allowed to sit in campus. Various companies like PayPal, Wipro , cognizant ,TCS ,Genpact ,Amdocs etc. Highest Package this year is 35 lpa and Average Package is around 7.5 lpa. Around 90% of students from circuital branch and around 80% students from non-circuital branch has been placed so far this year. My plan is prepare very smartly for campus placements and bag a very good PPO from are tech based company.

I applied for NIT Raipur NIT Durgapur and NIT prayagraj I selected this college NIT Jamshedpur because it has top class placement and the branch I was getting as mechanical engineering which is a decent branch. I got rejected from NIT prayagraj due to little less rank . The admission process of my colleges you have to qualify JEE mains with around 95 percentile to get any branch as a general student then you have to go for Josaa counselling in which you will be a lot at the seat . I did choose this college because it is quite old and reputed, being a govt college it has lesser fees and offered good placements, I got IIIT Lucknow as well, but didn't opt for it as it was quite new and didn't have proper hostel and residence facilities at that moment.
