Remarks

Eligible by writing JEE MAIN. The application is available on NTA's official website. There are certain reservation categories like sc/St/PWD and EWS. The admission process here is good, but it could be improved by making the contact with students from the management making more frequent and changing the mode of communication from website notices to another alternative.

Course Curriculum Overview

I'm much interested in this college environment and it's recommended by my well-wishers. The ratio here stands at around 1:15, which is good. Many professors hold a Ph.D. and they're also well qualified for experimental and lab teaching. The timing of the exams is simply perfect.

Internships Opportunities

200+ intern opportunities provided with Many-core and software bases and trained the people with the best of available. The projects are mostly real-time projects and they make the students get aware of the situation and then get a placement much easier.

Placement Experience

From semester 6, we're eligible. There are around 250 companies visit every year and this is increasing every year. The offers made are more than 900, with a wide range of packages. 73LPA is the highest package. And 15 LPA is the average package. The percentage of placement is 97.2

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee is increasing by around 10k this year, while the facilities remain the same as the last year. But it's affordable. Here we've options such as NSP for sc/St/PWD candidates. And FFE for the general category. Also, students can opt for various private scholarships.

Campus Life

There are 3 fests in our college and they are celebrated in a splendid way and there're mainly held around December month. The library is well equipped with all the latest trending books. Classrooms are the best in class, simply awesome. Urja is a single word for the sports activities and sports fest in our college. Clubs like PHOENIX, ECORIDERS,DAKSH,DRIFT,PHOCUS,etc are various clubs .

Hostel Facilities

Basic things are all provided but, sadly many facilities are out of order. Meals are manageable. There's no separate procedure for registering with the mess and hostel.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum exam ready for students of mechanical engineering it focuses on industrial level exposure and for other competitive exams like gate and IES with good faculty who teaches almost all concepts. There are labs for each subject in which we get real world application knowledge. Also course is updated regularly as per the requirement of industry . The course can we improved by making course more practical rather than a writing all things on practical it should include project for students. Frequency of exam is that in every 15 days there is a exam with moderate to difficult level.

Placement Experience:

7th Semester students become eligible for placements. The highest package is offered by Rubrik in 2025 of 1.41 CR(domestic) High paying jobs are mostly for SWE/SDE roles. Percentage of students getting placed in CSE/AIML is 75, ECE 69, EEE 60, Mech 58. My plans after gettting degree is to get into job sector only for a while. No such higher education plans as such.

Placement Experience:

At BIT Mesra third is like full of practice for placements and final year more of placements activities than studies. So, when all these things are in order placements obviously will be more or less certain and here they are certain only with almost 90% students are places through campus with annual placements of 8-10 lakhs per annum.

A Genuine Review

Placement Experience:

From 5th Semester onwards student are eligible for internship but from 7th semester they are allowed to sit in campus. Various companies like PayPal, Wipro , cognizant ,TCS ,Genpact ,Amdocs etc. Highest Package this year is 35 lpa and Average Package is around 7.5 lpa. Around 90% of students from circuital branch and around 80% students from non-circuital branch has been placed so far this year. My plan is prepare very smartly for campus placements and bag a very good PPO from are tech based company.

I applied for NIT Raipur NIT Durgapur and NIT prayagraj I selected this college NIT Jamshedpur because it has top class placement and the branch I was getting as mechanical engineering which is a decent branch. I got rejected from NIT prayagraj due to little less rank . The admission process of my colleges you have to qualify JEE mains with around 95 percentile to get any branch as a general student then you have to go for Josaa counselling in which you will be a lot at the seat . I did choose this college because it is quite old and reputed, being a govt college it has lesser fees and offered good placements, I got IIIT Lucknow as well, but didn't opt for it as it was quite new and didn't have proper hostel and residence facilities at that moment.
