Admission is based on a merit basis. the Students should have more than 60 percent bachelor's. For me, economics is a very important subject and personally, my interest was towards it because it teaches us how to run an economy, There is mainly equilibrium in the strength of the class, Teachers are very cooperative and they are having interactive ways of teaching. Usually, in a semester, there are two examinations, one is mid and sem other is the final examination. It wholly depends on the student how who studies for passing the examination if he is regular in his classes so it is very easy for him to have good grades in examination.

In GNDU various kinds of the fest are conducted like jashan, youth fest, Exordium, and so on. Moreover, the library of Gndu has the largest collection of books in Amritsar approx 3 lakh books are stored over here, and for its sports, it is the most famous in the whole country. Like it has achieved the Abdul Kalam award in sports. For students' mental health, social groups are made for creating a cooperative environment for students.

I was a hosteler. The maintenance of the hostel is pretty well. Daily cleaning is done. In the hostel, we were provided a study room and a common room. The meal was appropriate. Moreover in a hostel, there are canteens also available and necessities shops are also available for students.
