Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar, is noted for its knowledgeable faculty who generally employ straightforward teaching methods. While faculty in the Economics Department are known to be approachable, some are seen as overly strict, which could limit classroom communication. The examination system is aligned with the new NEP policy, comprising two exams per semester: a minor exam worth 30 marks and a major exam worth 70 marks.
