Good college life and good placements

First, you have to JEE mains exam, cost of JEE mains form is rs 650 for one session, I gave jee mains in 2021 where I obtained AIR 20191 and OBC-NCL rank 4442, generally, there is a cut off of 75% in CBSE boards or top 20 percentile to admission in NIT and IIT even after obtaining a good rank in JEE mains. when u fulfil both these conditions then u have to Participate in JOSAA counselling for admissions. JOSAA councelling is very smooth and light ., so don't worry about the counselling process.

AS per my rank. I have two options at the time of councelling first was CSE at NIT Patna & second was ECE of NIT Jamshedpur but after seeing the attractive placement and environment of NIT JSR. there is around a 1:20 faculty-student ratio. all of the faculties are highly qualified but in some subjects, you need to study on your own .you can't depend fully on faculties. sometimes you have to also take help from YOUTUBE for studies there is 1 mid sem, 1 end sem, some class tests, assignments, VIVA and some lab work in one complete semester.

at the end of the 6th sem students become eligible for placements NIT Jamshedpur has an excellent placement record. this year's highest package was 60LPA. placements of CSE and ECE departments are 100% even though all other department has more than 90% placements

normally total fess is around 9 lakhs for 1 year, but if your family income is less than 1 lakh then you get full fee remission in tution fees and if it is between 1-5 lakhs then u can get 2/3 fee remission in tution fees. for SC/ST there is full fee remission in tution fees. sometimes college hike fees without any notice.

OJASS, URJA & Culfest are some of the fests of this college. fests are generally not conducted on a specific date. but mostly it is conducted when maximum students are present in the college. the library is average in this college means there is no so such big library there .also sometimes u can face some shortage of books there but u can avail of books easily. NIT JSR has the best classroom in comparison to all NIT's classrooms is equipped with all the modern facilities. there are 3 basketball, 3 cricket grounds, 2 badminton courts inside the campus..also common rooms are made at every hostel for playing indoor games
