Remarks

There is no entrance exam. The plus point of this institute is for management seat they charge only 25000 rupees more than the merit seat.They have very clean campus.A canteen,a food court,various clubs for extracurriculars and they follow new academic method called design thinking.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is moderate. Staffs are well qualified and exams are pretty easy to clear.The teaching method is very practical and clear.Lab facilities are top notch and good ambience over all it's a good experience

Internships Opportunities

Since biomedical is an interdisciplinary course, they really did get us some hospital visits. Other than that one should get an internship on their own. I got my own in my home town. There are reputed hospitals nearby so one can get an internship if they really go for it.

Placement Experience

Companies visited CTS, HCL, Bosch, Etc. Mostly it companies rather than core ones.If you want to get placed in core companies you got to try off campus.But at the end of the day if you want a job that can be guaranteed there.

Fees and Financial Aid

You can opt for a scholarship every year based on the reservation and the students who scored more than certain cut off which is 90% tuition fee is low for them.If you score good marks in 12th grade it will be very easy to get a seat there

Campus Life

They have classrooms with projectors. the campus has a one huge library.They have dance,music all cultural clubs on Saturday for students to participate and they give importance to culturals and sports events very much.

Is VIT worth it

Placement Experience:

Placements in VIT UNIVERSITY is very good the average package is 8 lakhs and the Highest may go upto 1 crore every year.There is a separate placement cell in VIT chennai and they give you placement training from start of the third year. Many multinational companies like google, microsoft etc comes to VIT to pick students for their company. Almost 98 percent of the students gets places in VIT. After my degree I choose to sit for placements.
