Remarks

My name is D.roshan Kumar, B-tech 1st Production and industrial engineering. I'm very happy that I got admission to this university but that to in pi branch. In this university, placements are very good, especially for our branch. I entered into this through JEE exams. I have scored 80% in my jee. This college is such good and in classrooms, there is AC also. Good infrastructure, the campus is fully covered with trees and greenary area.

I have chosen this course for placement purposes because for pie branch placements are good here. And about faculty in student ratio means some are excellent and some are normally like no experienced faculty are also there they are new. And in our college, all faculty members have completed their PhD. Till now I have not given any exam but it is difficult only

See in our college fee will be divided into their category like if you are belonging to ST and u r tution fees will free of cost and also depends on family income. Every year there is a change in fees. See their so many scholarships, and college will provide you loan from SBI also.

Campus Life

In our college, there are so many technical teams like Daksh, team rays. Participating in these teams may be used in placements. And coming to the library in our college library we are having so many advanced books, depth books, in our library we can find all over India and other countries books. Our library has an AC facility also. In our college their matches of volly ball, batmen ton, basketball, cricket etc...

Overall Review of NIT Jamshedpur

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum exam ready for students of mechanical engineering it focuses on industrial level exposure and for other competitive exams like gate and IES with good faculty who teaches almost all concepts. There are labs for each subject in which we get real world application knowledge. Also course is updated regularly as per the requirement of industry . The course can we improved by making course more practical rather than a writing all things on practical it should include project for students. Frequency of exam is that in every 15 days there is a exam with moderate to difficult level.

7th Semester students become eligible for placements. The highest package is offered by Rubrik in 2025 of 1.41 CR(domestic) High paying jobs are mostly for SWE/SDE roles. Percentage of students getting placed in CSE/AIML is 75, ECE 69, EEE 60, Mech 58. My plans after gettting degree is to get into job sector only for a while. No such higher education plans as such.

At BIT Mesra third is like full of practice for placements and final year more of placements activities than studies. So, when all these things are in order placements obviously will be more or less certain and here they are certain only with almost 90% students are places through campus with annual placements of 8-10 lakhs per annum.

A Genuine Review

Placement Experience:

From 5th Semester onwards student are eligible for internship but from 7th semester they are allowed to sit in campus. Various companies like PayPal, Wipro , cognizant ,TCS ,Genpact ,Amdocs etc. Highest Package this year is 35 lpa and Average Package is around 7.5 lpa. Around 90% of students from circuital branch and around 80% students from non-circuital branch has been placed so far this year. My plan is prepare very smartly for campus placements and bag a very good PPO from are tech based company.

I applied for NIT Raipur NIT Durgapur and NIT prayagraj I selected this college NIT Jamshedpur because it has top class placement and the branch I was getting as mechanical engineering which is a decent branch. I got rejected from NIT prayagraj due to little less rank . The admission process of my colleges you have to qualify JEE mains with around 95 percentile to get any branch as a general student then you have to go for Josaa counselling in which you will be a lot at the seat . I did choose this college because it is quite old and reputed, being a govt college it has lesser fees and offered good placements, I got IIIT Lucknow as well, but didn't opt for it as it was quite new and didn't have proper hostel and residence facilities at that moment.
