"Pearl in an ocean" is iitm

For pursuing MS in iitm gate score is important. we have to get good score to move into better department. For general category score of 600 above is enough. Moreover one must complete bachelor of technology in engineering. It will be two step process. First we have register in portal provided by iitm. We can find it easily in google by typing iitm MS admission. After going through scores of many registered students, they will give one cutoff and shortlist them for written and interview test. Depending upon the performance of written test and interview final shortlist of students will happen. And selected students will get the mail. Admission process goes very smoothly and electrical department always encourage students.

I was much passionate in doing research.so I selected MS program in iitm.I like devices much so preferably I took Microelectronics and MEMS specialization. Faculty to student ratio will be 1:1.maximum every faculty will complete their postdoc and great teaching experience. They will teach in such a way that they connect with the real world.it reaches international standards. Some teachers will have great command on subject. There will be 5 subjects required in MS program. This requires 2 semester. They are easy to pass. Remaining time student will do research.

Samsung hardware-49000 per month, Qualcomm-90,000 per month, Intel-50000 per month and many more. Projects play major role and conferences lead to great advantage in placements. Research proposal and objectives helps a lot.

From 4th semester students are eligible to sit for campus placement. Global foundries, Samsung, Qualcomm, intel are major companies. Also offers around 45 lakhs a average will be around 20 to 25 lakhs.90 percentage of students will be placed. Getting into industry is my plan.

Fees hikes will be generally 1% even less for MS program. Generally it takes around 40,000Rs per semester. I will get HTRA (Half-Time Research Assistantship).under this 12,400 Rs per month will be get in Banks. This is enough to pursue here. I am in 1st year only. Our 2nd year seniors got in global foundries company with 40,000 per month.

Shastra is the annual technical festival of IIT Madras. Many new technologies were exposed. Saarang is co circular fest .many non tech events are conducted.it will be conducted in month of between august and November depend upon semester schedule. Central library is maintained and all students can access journals through their college email id freely. Class rooms are highly supervised with air conditioner and good furniture. Ground with indoor and outdoor facilities available. Various clubs are: Music Club, Oratory Club, Thespian Club, Writing Club, Chorea Club, Fine Arts Club, Media Club, E-Sports Club, Comedy Club, Lifestyle Club.

Single room will be provided for MS graduates. Light, fan and free WIFI. Meals are good and every day egg is included to develop required proteins and fruits are provided weekly twice. At the time of admission we have register for hostel. I stay in iitm hostel. Scholarship is enough to live.
