Remarks

#Admission Process was very smooth. #Students Must have attempted the MHT-CET Entrance Exam to be eligible for this course after the 12th standard. #Students can find the application form on the MHTCET website #Students can avail the Reservation benefits by applying for the MAHADBT scholarship.

Course Curriculum Overview

# I had opted for a Bachelor of Engineering ( B.E ] in Civil Engineering as I found Developmental growth and rise in the Civil sector and construction sector in India. # Every class has 70-80 students and faculties are also well qualified with degrees of Ph.D., M.tech, etc from IIT and NIT colleges. #Semester exams generally occur every 6-7 months and exam difficulty was quite medium to hard level as the college is affiliated with RTMNU university.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 115000 per year

Internships Opportunities

# Students can go for an internship which is provided college itself as a role of the intern. # Students have to make a major project in the last semester and also Mini-project, Minor Project from the 4th or 5th semester which is compulsory in the course.

Placement Experience

#Students are eligible for placements from the 7th semester and can opt for an Internship from the 6th semester. # College avail students on-campus and off-campus opportunities. # Variuos companies like TCS, Cognizant, Wipro, L&T, Collabera, etc visit every year. # Average package offered by MNCs is 3250000. #almost 50-60% of students get placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

# Maha-DBT Scholarship can be availed to Reservation students. #students have to pay 1.15Lakhs per year for B.E course.

Campus Life

# College has various forums like Rotract, Force, etc at every department level. # Every year college cultural fest 'ASHWAMEDH' which includes singing, dancing, comedy, etc., # Sports activities also happen at the department level. #College has a Library facility also which is free of cost students can issue books for 2 months at one time.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. I appleid for ycce college , raisoni and priyadarshini college of engineering in which i got priyadarshini with branch etc which was unexpected . I was not expecting this but when i researched and studied i found it was worth getting as it has many facilities than other college and the staff is wonderful. I dont no what went wrong with me in other colleges as i was eligible for it i got 82% in cet exam but i didn't get it. For getting admission in pce you should pass 10+2 with good percentage and should appear for cet . You can directly get admission or can get through the cap round....Read More
